V J. wrote a review for Pour A moment ago 2.0 star rating 2/15/2016 I was a little disappointed as my recent visit to POUR was my first, which I decided on based on the positive Yelp reviews. The restaurant itself doubles as a modern art gallery, which is nice except for the fact that its too bright for a dinner with any sort of ambiance. The environment felt more like the cafe of a museum than a restaurant. Service: The service was purposefully slow to allow for a natural progression of the dining experience. The server was informative and polite. This was the highlight of the meal. Drinks: We both had wine. The wine menu is not extensive, and wine aficionados are warned. That said, there is enough variety within the selection to pair with meals. Food: We had mixed feelings about the food. The charcuterie was done very well. We had the prosciutto and lamb terrine. For cheese we had the time brebis. All were delicious, as was the bread, mustard and jam. Next were the entrees. The fettuccine was not a good dish at all. The sauce tasted very vinegary, and destroyed the overall flavor profile. The pasta itself was not cooked well. The pan seared Ono was a little better, but the peanut butter sauce lacked depth. Where was the heat from the chili? Where was the flavor? Also, it arrived at the table cool. As for the desserts - the bread pudding was done well. The dark chocolate creme brulee was acceptable, but the texture was more like a gelatin than a creme. Summary: I think part of the issue is that the menu changes each week. While it keeps things fresh it also prevents the restaurant from excelling in cooking its entrees. For a meal that cost nearly $150 one hopes everything would be superb, but in the end we were underwhelmed and disappointed.

On this short trip to Lancaster, I wasnt expecting much. But going to Pour as a late night decision made this trip into something special. This bar was the best Ive ever been to! The drinks were really great, unusual, strong, and beautifully presented. The bartender ( AJ, I think) was such a nice informative guy, who I enjoyed talking to and he had good drink suggestions. And the art gallery connected to the bar was unique and really awesome! Ive literally never written a review and I loved this place so much that I had to write one when I got home. We loved this place so much, we went there both nights that we were in town instead of trying something else new, which is very unusual for us in a strange city. Maybe a little expensive, but, if I was a local, Id definitely be a regular. Long story short, go here of youre in town!

Our first visit was fine. The food and atmosphere were both nice. The portions are small and its a little pricey but neither of those factors were worse than expected for this type of restaurant. Our second visit was for a brunch that was advertised online. As part of the set we would get a coffee cake to share. On the day, they said there had been a mistake online and they wouldnt be honoring the posting. There was no alternative given, and no price reduction. To us that was VERY poor customer service. And on top of that, we had to wait too long for our food and our waiter forgot several details throughout the meal. Their food wasnt bad, but the rest of the experience was. We wont be returning.

If your idea of a good time is to overpay for gourmet food, this is the place for you. Unless you are serious foodie who appreciates exotic food presentations, this is not the place for you. The portions are so tiny that I thought that I would have to use my pocket magnifying glass to see it. The portions are intended for the foodie without an appetite. The service was adequate, but not extraordinary, and the outdoor court adds nothing to the experience. It faces a noisy street and the outdoor furniture is ordinary. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone other than an upscale yuppy who is into conspicuous consumption. If you are really hungry, go to McDonalds.

When I went to pour I did it with my parents and we hated it, we waited for a long time for drinks and for the food to come out. The service was poor, and it was all way overpriced. Also my mom ordered pork belly, and got pork chops, because they were out of pork belly and the server just put in pork chops for her. The truffle fries tasted like normal fries and nothing else tasted the great either. So to wrap this up the service is poor, the food was poor, and the prices were amazingly high.

Went here for brunch for the first time last Sunday. I ordered the scotch egg when my order finally came the sausage around my egg was just shy of being raw totally inedible. There were 2 other tables eating at the time the restaurant was slow and not very busy. Not only was the food not great but the service took forever and there was no one there I couldnt image how long it wouldve taken had it been busy. To say the least I was disappointed by my experience here.

We just came back from a wonderful dinner at Pour. We sat at the bar near the kitchen and it was the best seat in the house. We watched all the food being prepared and finished before being brought to the tables, they put such care and effort into a perfect presentation it was amazing. The food was excellent the staff were superb and we will definitely be going back in the future. Definitely the best of Lancaster. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Dinner was nice but not blown away. Liked the charcuterie /beer / wine selection. Dishes were smaller but I would consider adequate. Like the theme and atmosphere. Our waitress could have done with better training. It took way too long like 20 minutes total to get our beer. Understand they were out of mine but a replacement should have been soon in coming. Rule #1 get the drinks out fast as you can.

Anthony, Travis and crew blew us away. Best dining experience weve had in a long time. The gallery setting is the perfect backdrop for the masterpieces Chef Davis offers. Each plate had the perfect combination of flavors and textures, appealing to all the senses. True artists, with service to match. Take loved ones and good friends and plan on making an evening of it. Cant wait to get back!

Walked in today at 1:55 for brunch we were told " were almost out of food I dont think I can seat you Ill be right back let me ask." She came back and told us "they could not serve us they are just about out of food." What the hell kind of restaurant runs out of food? If Im not mistaken they serve brunch till 2:30. I wont be back, Ill spend my money elsewhere! Nice customer service! NOT!

We arrived six minutes before opening and they unlocked the door & seated us anyway. They had discontinued a dessert my daughter really wanted but the chef recreated it for her anyway AND didnt even charge us for it. They threw extra macaroon mushrooms in the takeaway box. Over-the-top service and delicious food. The salmon & beet salad is perfect and the duck-fat fries are amazing.
