Ok here is something that tries to be unbiased from a business traveler (ie suit & tie). The food is great, it would have been exceptional with ciopinno if the octopus was cooked correctly - this is hard to do when clams and scallops are involved since they all take different times / temps. Ok so heres the bad - like other reviewers, um... the service was lacking especially for this caliber of restaurant. I saw my drink being made, I watched it sit at the bar for better than 5 min. Now, this was 830pm on a Monday - not swamped, but definitely empty tables. Here comes the hideous - I ordered an appetizer as well as dinner, and the dinner was brought out first - ok this is a mess up - but the lack of CRM takes the cake, verbatim from the runner "Here work on this and Ill see about the other." Um no. The cherry topping is I had this pushed on me two more times even by the manager. Really? "Want it to go?" Um. NO. The whip cream: the table next to me paid my tab, which was within cents, but wow, how many times do you have to fumble? High-end food demands high-end service. They did repeatedly apologize, and I will come back hoping this is an aberration, however this will now sit in the back of my mind. I was offered something on my next visit - 1. tacky, 2. I told him to expect me in two weeks. Well see.

Absolutely a disgrace .Terrible food terrible service terrible everything there is an absolute reason why the restaurant was empty when we came in .Management on the other hand was an absolute disgrace to all managers in the restaurant industry did not seem to care what the issues were did not seem to care didnt even want to be bothered with the issue at hand .Food was terrible drier than boiled chicken absolute no flavor burnt cold and disgusting .I being a chef myself will never recommend this restaurant to anyone not even my greatest enemy do not eat here if you wish to eat good food .Will never eat here again absolute waste of time money and energy .Offered to help with Constructive criticism but no one seemed to care with shifty staff in poor management .Honestly it the filet a fish at McDonalds is far better than anything Ive ever consume there Never again .And honestly I would not have even give it one star but unfortunately this website requires me to give a star but if it were my choice it would have absolutely nothing if something it Would-be negative

Atmosphere: The atmosphere here is wonderful. It has an air of fine dining but still a casual feel. You could come dressed up or casual and not feel out of place. The Decor is very modern and the place was spotless and clean. Service: The service was excellent. We were seated promptly (made a reservation), and the waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food: The food was good, but not amazing. I would say it was a little over priced for what it was. I had two crab cakes for 28.95, it felt more like a 24.95 type dish. Everything was fresh and tasted good. I was supposed to get coconut rice and they gave me plain rice by accident. The waitress promptly took care of it, and while the coconut rice tasted really good, all it was was toasted coconut flakes thrown on top of the rice. It could have used a lot more flakes to get the taste throughout. Overall it was a good experience considering a chain seafood restaurant. I would probably consider looking for a good local option and going here as a back up in non-seafood cities.

Best oysters I ever had. Amazing customer service. No issues until halfway through the meal I find a bone in my trout. The next three bites all had bones in them. Just then the waiter came to the table and I told him about it. He insisted that he take it back and get me another plate. I told him just to bring out 3 oysters and I would be happy. He said "how about I bring you out a dozen". I happily agreed to that. His manager came over and apologized, asking me if I would like a soup or salad why I waited. I told him I was ok, the oysters were more than enough. The owner ended up bringing the oysters to my table and again apologizing for the inconvenience. They ended up only charging me for the 2 drinks that I had. They managed to turn an ok experience into an amazing night. I LOVE good customer service and I will definitely be back there again. Try the raw bar, Cowboy oysters where the best I ever had.

To be honest, I really enjoy the food at Legal. Its decent, ample choices (I dont need many) and decent quality. What is keeping me away is the service. Its just awful. Once, I went in for lunch and our appetizer we ordered from the raw bar took an hour! And because we were so hungry, we wolf that thing down in only a few minutes. Our entree didnt take an hour.... only another 45 minutes. Whats unbelievable was that the restaurant wasnt even busy! There were plenty of tables available and waiters gossiping and chatting left and right. So I was extremely annoyed with the incompetence of my waiter. When I asked for a comment card, they said they dont have any, which means they dont care about their customer service. So thats why Im never going back. And that waiter didnt get a tip.

My wife and two kids have been there twice since they opened. The first time was great. Clean, food was good, portions were good, and prices were fair We returned this past summer and found they were all compromised since then. The prices were high, the portions had shrunk considerably, the utensils were dirty, and the service was so-so. I think they eliminated a salad or side dish from the entree price as well. I dont care for restaurants that nickel and dime their customers or dupe them with scant portions. Cheesecake factory is a joke. A pigsty. Cant believe people wait hours there for horrible everything. The only consistently decent and reasonable restaurant at the mall so far has been CA pizza.

My friend and I went on 1/24/15 for a dinner date. It was very nice there we was greeted with a warm smile. Our waitress knew the menu and the specials and help us pick out the best dish possible. I am allergic to oranges and my friend is allergic to nuts but he can eat peanuts so that help her. The oyster bar was amazing as she also helped us pick out the best oysters. The manager came over to make sure we was okay as well. The bartender made my drinks was great!! Our waitress Brittany was a absolute pleasure and was tipped nice. We will recommend this place to our friends and family as we put on our schedule a time to visit this place again. Thank you for a great experience.

Its the food that keeps me coming back. The seafood is probably some of the best in the area and I love the selection of raw oysters. However it seems to me no matter how slow or busy service is always very slow and unresponsive. Just to clarify Im not talking about the time it takes for the to prepare my lobster. Im talking about the time it takes from my request for a glass of water until I actually get it. If this only happened once it would be excusable. This is every time Im here. Food it phenomenal! Price may be just a little too high, but I dont mind.
