This is a self biased review. Sonnys bar & Grill has been a Main Street Honesdale bar for decades. It has recently come under new ownership (not myself) after the tragic passing of Sonny. it is still the same Sonnys (even with Sonny Burgers remaining on the menu) with a few beneficial changes. New paint on the wall, brighter atmosphere, and most notable No smoking. The new owners are slowly introducing new specials, food, cocktails, and they are developing a craft beer selection (an on going process). If youve been going there for years, you will recognize all of the familiar faces, but plenty of new ones. If you have never been in or are just visiting the area, it is worth stopping by to try the new brews or the classic Sonny Burger (the BEST in Honesdale). As for the clientele, they are a diverse crowd. Everyone has a good time. Highly recommend!!!

This is a nice little place with a well laid bar and seating area. They have a good beer selection and a very nice bartender. I will definitely be going back.
