We went with our family that consists of two boys 5 and under. Upon arrival the hostess offered us up seating anywhere we would like. Our family choose to sit outside. The waitress was very nice. I really enjoyed the wings. Our children had a great time and the guests outside could not have been any nicer to our kids. I really felt like the dinner was stress free which is hard to come by all the time. It is definitely a restaurant we will visit again. Our advice to parents is try to go at a reasonable hour in the early evening and you will have a great dinner while your kids can just be kids.

Regardless of food. The service here was terrible. We sat at a table in the bar and didnt get acknowledged for 15 minutes. After we went up to the bartender who did apologize we placed an order. Later I had to go back up to the bar for a glass of water because after the apology again we didnt talk to a single person or get checked on for another 10 minutes!!! Then I go back up after putting my order in 20 minutes earlier for a bowl of French onion soup and chicken wings and now there is a back up. Poor planning and poor execution for a restaurant next to a resort regardless of season.

This place is just plain cool. Their appetizers are all over the place. The usual is there, yes, but they have pierogies, maple sweet potatoe fries, poutine, broccoli bites, corn fritters, etc. In this age of its all the same from RubyTuesdays to TGIFs" it is nice to see something different. We ordered the Volcano Fries, corn fritters, wings and steak and cheese. Stopped by on our way through to watch a Steelers game. Great TVs, but they should have on *very large* one for the steelers game. Food hot and quick. Beer cold and interesting. Wish it was near home.

Im originally from New York so when someone says they are giving me hot wings, I expect them to be hot. Needless to say, out here in the Poconos, the food is consistently bland which is why I was pleasantly surprised to see all the various flavors offered by Backdraft. Though the wings were not what I expected in hotness, they were tasty. I found the staff very nice and accommodating and will definitely visit again and try something else.... They have a hot wing challenge that I wish I could try....but Im scared. :o)

I live in The Hideout and its so close to walk very convenient. The staff is amazingly friendly I love the idea of the addition in the back with such open space and especially the fire pit. I love being their during the day, enjoying the atmosphere of being outside instead of being stuffed up inside thats my preference just love it cant wait for this Sunday I will definitely definitely be there.... Well done Lee, I think you did a wonderful job......THE. BEST WINGS IN P.A... phenomenal

This place is great great food and people everyone need to go there I promise you will go back all the time the food is the best food around this area and me and my family and friends love this place best food I say within a 50mile range sorry to the other places but they top you by far just what ever you do dont eat at Rollys there food is not good at all your better off going to McDonalds WOW now thats bad lol backdraft is #1 choice in my book.................

Happy hour visit! Chicken Quesadilla was very nice, however, it could have had a little more chicken in it and a luttle less cheese to make it a better balance between both. But, the onion rings were cooked to perfection and our waitress Jessica was very attentive, prompt, and helpful. She is a marvelous server. We sat on the outside firepit deck. Cool air and beautiful scenery. Oh! Karoaki too! Thanks backseat for a nice experience.

Not from this area, but turned to Google for lunch recommendation. My wife, son and I were happy with the results. We went with a slice a pizza, loaded french fries, chicken finger basket & on the bone wings with the general tso sauce. Everything was great. What was nice about Backdraft is the they separated the bar and band side form the dine in side. Very comfortable for us with our 2yr old.

I have been there twice and both times the food was spot on the drinks were cold and the conversation was outstanding, interesting people from New York, New Jersey and the Poconos as I am from the wilkes Barre area so I really enjoyed the friendliness of the crowd. Will definitely stop on my next fishing trip to the Paupack Lake

Vacationed on Lake Wallenpaupack and went to Backdraft twice during our trip. GREAT food and even BETTER service. Got a chance to talk to some of the guys that worked there and theyre really good guys. On the last night I completed the Inferno Wing Challenge and the wings are no joke. Looking forward to making my way back!!

The best bar in Pennsylvania hands down, great service, great food great price and they kill st there spicy inferno wings the chef James was amazing he came out and talked to us and he was a great guy abd chef. I hope he gets in tv!
