I would not recommend this establishment to my worst enemy. To start off we received our drinks, One adult ordered diet pepsi and the other adult ordered a regular pepsi. First off the sodas were incorrect both of the sodas received were diet. The childs rootbeer, was correct as ordered. After waiting 25 mins, now this is 10pm one dinner arrives, the childs hot hammy and cheese dinner was delivered but not the adult dinners. The waiters response was the original burgers the cook char-grilled so he asked for new ones to be made. Another 15 mins later the adult dinners arrive... As I am looking at my plate, I notice HAIR on my french fries. I explain to the waiter that I see hair on my food and his response is.."What do you want me to do about it". I was furious to say the least. At any other FINE establishment that you would patron a manager would come to the table to soothe your completely disgusting and appalling experience. No manager ever appeared. Our waiter at one point came back and tried to explain that it was his hair and that I should feel much better...I would not recommend this disgusting rat hole to anyone. They are dirty, disgusting and most of all unaware of the power of word of mouth. I have received better service at Dennys! I will be alerting the board of health about this disgusting experience.

This past experience on 8-4-17 was not one of my better experiences at this franchise. I went with a group of friends (7 of us total, 2 couples and a couple with their son) that wanted outdoor seating, they didnt put tables together for us to sit together so we had to do that ourselves. Each couple ordered an appetizer and the waitress only brought out 2 out of 3 appetizers. The 3rd was forgotten about, which we had to tell another waitress about because the one serving us didnt come out to see how the food was. The 3rd appetizer was then brought out with our meals. When we got our drinks someone didnt like their tea so they ordered a soda instead and they were still charged on their bill for the tea, even though it was brought to the waitresses attention when we got our drinks. Its been a while since I have been to Dukes and I think it will be quite a while till I come back.

We came here from out-of-town after visiting Hersheypark. The wait was about 30 minutes and had we known how the food was, we wouldnt have waited. Appetizers took more than 30 minutes to arrive and the much hyped crabby pretzel was underwhelming at best. The spinach and artichoke dip was salty, not fresh and didnt even bother finishing it. The waitress never came back after delivering the appetizers to check if everything was okay. She also just dumped a bunch of silverware and napkins in the middle of the table which was not enough for a table of 9 people. Waters were not refilled until after dinner came which was an hour after ordering. We read the reviews and thought this was a good local place to go but the food quality needs a big improvement.

A few days back I had the fried fish sandwich ... Good LAWD that thing was the truth! Piping hot and crispy without being greasy. I didnt need the bread so asked for it to be brought on a bed of lettuce, it was like they gave me a free salad. Went back tonight, had the Turkey and Provolone club and a cup of the onion soup, yeah the soup was on point, loaded with onion and the cheese was gooey deliciousness, and now for the club, the ingredients arent spectacular, but they are good, the presentation was nice. And bring your armor, cause its a big one. Now for the servers, everyone is so pleasant and accomodating, if youre in Hershey and youre going to eat, dont miss Dukes.

My fiance and I drove 50 minutes to eat here and we were SO disappointed. I ordered the $25 steak and crab cake dinner with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The steak tasted fine other then the fact that my 14 oz steak had about 6 oz of fat on it. The crab cake and mashed potatoes were among the worst Ive ever had. Crab cake had chunks of crab in it but lacked any flavor other then bread and lemon. There was no taste of garlic in the potatoes and they tasted sour, as if they had lemon in them as well. He ordered a burger and you could tell that the patties were frozen, preformed patties. Not fresh at all. Other then the crab pretzel appetizer, everything was awful.

The hostess ruined our experience immediately. She did not address us, grabbed menus, mumbled to follow her and when we didnt (since we wanted to sit outside and not inside) she ushered us with a wave of the hand. We wanted a swing outside but she sat us in the corner, never addressing us. When the waiter showed up we asked to be moved and he was pleasant about it. I told him about our experience with the hostess and he said Im not the first to complain. Shes an older lady with dark hair that must have an in if all those complaints result in nothing. Will not be returning to this location.

Food was just ok. It was more of a terrible experience. We were there on a sat morning before a soccer game. Mostly families in the restaurant, yet they had some raunchy movie playing on one of the tvs. Sound was off, but no sound was needed for the totally nude sex scene that my 10, 7, and 3 year old ended up seeing. I asked them to change the channel, to which I got a sigh and eye roll and was told that the bar tender had to do it. It didnt get changed, so I had to ask again. Im not sure why they would play something like that where there were families with kids everywhere.

The service was quick and very friendly. Five stars for being a comforting stop after a long drive. We shared an order of classic fish n chips. This was no tempura with a few crisp fries. The portion was large, served in a foot wide plate it was plenty for two. The fish was delicious and slathered in batter. The fries were a bit oily to my taste. The creamy salad and tartar sauce were too heavy on mustard flavour for me.

We were in town for one night (on a road trip) and Dukes happened to be next door to the motel we were staying at. Its a friendly place, popular with locals, an extensive menu with decent prices. I had the Assateague chicken breast sandwich, which was a chicken breast with a crab cake on top...delicious and filling. And it was nice to have potato salad as an alternative to french fries. Plus they have a fantastic peanut butter pie!

After 5 minutes of being ignored by the hostess, and another 5 for our waitress, we got to enjoy having the entire dining area to ourselves. It was an hour before closing and the place was empty and service was slow. The margarita pizza, which was half the size the waitress told us, was delicious. The waitress wasnt very nice, restaurant wasnt the cleanest, but for the only open restaurant it wasnt terrible.

I had been there before and had a good experience, but its been almost a year. So I took some family that are in town visiting. We seriously almost walked out even before we ordered- the waitress was just that rude! We decided to stay and was retreated even worse while giving our order. The attitude from her continued throughout the entire service. I will never go back again.
