This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The service was deplorable. Upon arrival we were told there would be an hour wait which we agreed upon and sat on the deck for cocktails. They moved us a different table so we could order apps and before our apps were even set our table became available. They dropped our apps at our table at which time the server came over and tried to take our dinner order. No introductions, just he had seen we were taken care so what would we like for dinner. He returned to our table about 4 more times asking for our dinner order when It was clear the appetizers werent even close to done. Meanwhile it took at least 10 minutes to put in a drink and get it. I tried to order a simple mixed drink of bacardi limon and club soda, the first one that came out must have been made with tonic which is a simple mix up. Upon asking for a new one and explaining why the waitress returned over 10 min later with the same drink that was simply watered down no fresh ice nothing. To avoid any more problems with a mixed drink I tried to just order a shot of Bacardi limon To pour into my drink. They dont carry limon so they gave me some mixture of what I assume was turpentine rum, lemon and club soda in a shot glass. The waiter then relayed the message to me that if there was anything more wrong with my drink I could just give it back and have it voided. No attempt or suggestion to make the customer happy. The food was sub par at best. I ordered NY strip done rare and came out medium at best. We tried to split our check and the waiter apparently couldnt manage that either. Charging one card the full amount and then "trying to rectify it" and splitting the check. So now my card has been charged for the full amount and half amount. A manager never came to see us despite our numerous problems and I am still waiting for the correct amount to be rectified and charged to my card. I will never return nor would I ever recommend place to anyone.

A good experience that could have gone wrong. While staying in the area at East Shore Lodging, the staff recommended The Dock restaurant. The menu offered many interesting options, and the renovated old school ambiance were appealing. We didnt mind waiting a while for our food as we were enjoying the delicious drinks and the lake side atmosphere. When the waiter brought our entrees, the soup and salads had not yet been served. This was disappointing, as we had been waiting quite a while, and the waiter had checked back with us severel times to let us know our meals would be out soon. He apologized immediatelly. We asked to see the manager, who also apologized sincerely, and explained the young waiter was new, and that he the manager, was to blame for not supervising the waiter more closely. The manager offered the employee discount of 50%. We found this offer very generous, and his assuming responsibility particularly thoughtful. I must also explain the food was excellent and beautifully presented. When the waiter brought our desserts he informed us that in addition to the 50% discount, the desserts were on the house. This episode was handled and corrected perfectly, and the food was delicious. I would definitely return, and recommend The Dock to any one I the area.

Felt uncomfortable. We stood at the host station for an awkward few minutes waiting to be seated by the four or five enmployees standing there looking at us but talking amongst themselves. Actually asked what we should do. We werent told about any wait times, just seated. Seated finally but no high chair for our toddler. Sat another few minutes waiting for drinks but no one came so we left. Ont the way out we noticed a couple very quickly and very politely spoken to, wait time of an hour explained, asked where they would like to sit, ect, very very different from when we walked in. It really felt that because we werent in collard shirts and looked like we were wealthy that we were treated as such. The one hostess was kind to my daughter which I appreciated but I felt very awkward in there. Being made to feel less than is never a good feeling. Most of the wait staff looked very grouchy, the host staff smiled a lot. I heard a few other customers complaining about there dinner. I liked this place a lot when it was Erhardts or however its spelled.

Our waitress was wonderful - our food not so much. The "house made" corned beef for the Ruben Sandwhich was not corned beef but overcooked roast beef. The prime rib cheesteak tasted like reheated frozen meat and the bread was soggy from having sat too long under a heat lamp or something. Also, minuscule amount of fries and the pickle I supposedly to have received was a half of a small slice shoved under the Sandwhich. The chowder had little to no flavor either. The fried calamari was good though. I had eaten there earlier in the summer last year and the food was slightly better which I expected hearing that Settlers had taken them over. I was very disappointed with the most recent meal especially at the somewhat higher prices for what we ordered.

Terrible experience. Extremely rude hostess. The one with the short spiked hair and our waitress Kristen were absolutely miserable and unattentive. Told us we couldnt make reservations for the deck, when we arrived we were scolded for not making reservations ....her attitude towards us was absolutely disgusting and the waitress didnt crack a smile or come to the table to check on us. We waited an hour and a half for a table that had been open since we arrived. The bartenders were both rude and snobby and the one named Chris flirted with my sister and took it upon himself to apologize solely to my sister with a free drink for the rude service prior. Horrible service , not worth your time or money.

Went yesterday with my husband for an early spur of the moment dinner. He had the ranchero burger which he loved because it wasnt dry and overlooked. I ordered the Margherita pizza which was lovely and not overwhelming with basil how most pizzas tend to be, great job with it! The quality of the food here has really gotten so much better these past few months. Only reason that I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the waitresses are rude and act as if they dont want to be there. Customer service should be impeccable when working in the hospitality business. Once that area is fixed, thats when I will come back and give it the 5 stars it deserves.

Very over priced for the quality of the food. Crabcakes were mostly mayonaise with no lump crab meat at all. The english muffin was not even toasted and tasted like raw dough. The shrimp risotto ap tasted like it was made with tons of cheese, barely edible and the french onion soup had crackers on top instead of bread. The kids had chicken cordon bleu and the chicken parm. It looked and tasted like the chicken was processed chicken. Never again.

Our Hostess was an attentive and informative young girl, whom of which we have NO complaints whatsoever, but the food was mediocre at best as well as the menu selection and the bar drinks that we ordered were not made properly and nearly undrinkable, weve had better meals at Perkins for much less money. Thumbs up for the Hostess, Thumbs down for the food, drink and atmosphere.
