Its now called the 402 Grill... We stopped here for a quick lunch and were so glad we did! Each had a cup of delicious home made soup (turkey noodle + split pea), then out came my well stuffed chicken wrap tossed in a spicy BBQ sauce, and my wifes gigantic baked potato stuffed with broccoli and provolone. I have never seen such an enormous potato. Both entrees were delicious, it was real home cooking. Service was great, everyone very friendly + prices really amazing. Well worth the stop!

Horrible service food was even worse. The potatos were pre cooked cold. How can you screw up toast? I dont know but they did...old bread god awfull. Our waitress, The Crypt Keeper did a wonderfull job of dragging her misserable ass slowly to bring the check after waiting 1/2 hour after finnishing this dog food. Staff never even bothered to ask how was your meal? Well lesson learned I reccomend going elewhere.

This place is now called the"402 Café" and not "The Lake Wallenpaupack Café" as it says on the map. The place doesnt look like much from the outside but the food is really good. The staff is pretty nice, especially the younger workers. If you get the pancake, yes singular, make sure you are hungry & have plenty to drink. The pancake I got with the 402 breakfast was almost the size of a standard spare tire.

The waitress we had was intentionally rude, the food was poor in quality + the prices were too high. Watch out for the pancakes = they are huge & taste terrible! They claim to be "famous" for the pancakes but I think they meant "infamous" I will never return to this place and I recommend you dont either

This cafe at the intersection of US 6 and PA 402, east of Lake Wallenpaupak, is a popular stop for bikers and four wheel tourists alike. The menu is standard diner fare. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was good.

Small, cozy, home-style cafe, specializing in breakfast 8am to 2pm. One of the few places youll find in area to eat bkfast. Good tasty food, pleasent hostess and server, low prices. Highly recommended.

I am so happy that they have extended their hours!! The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food is wonderful and the price is perfect. The service is excellent. Well worth the trip.
