As for Country Stores, this one reminds me of antique stores on the way to Ocean City vacations and long trips through the South. It is possibly the best in the area at balancing the antique with the absurdities that garner in tourists. On-site manufacturing of chotchkies and T-shirts is a welcome addition. It will be the sole proprietor of ice cream in the area as it is supplied by Mannings. No other business can deliver this quality. The food is well-made, which is why you will return there. You can see the kitchen from the checkout, so there is authenticity and accountability. Food prices are on point. Lattes are reliant on who makes them, but if thats what you are looking for, you already knew that. Ask for the big guy with less grey hair. Store prices range from average to just a little high for third-party store items, but you are also getting an experience. There are so many things to see and purchase you almost have to visit twice to see it all. Atmosphere is on point and has something for everyone. It has now become a local landmark and tourist attraction. Quickly. The owner and employees respond quickly, professionally, addressing concerns promptly. High marks all around, save for infant and child-awareness in the front serving area. High-chairs, booster-seats, plates, and general serving know-how observably werent offered to a young family eating in. This could easily become the only place to eat out with children otherwise. Some of the real gems are past the serving area. You can see items being manufactured in the indoor workshop. Or head further for an incredible childrens section and activity area. It really is something special.

First we notice the humongous lawn chairs, then the painted cow art, and thats when the smell of barbeque ribs and pulled pork hit us. The gentleman who welcomes you into the store is quite charming and encouraged us to take our time and enjoy the store. The cheese selection is extensive, you can also find franks and sausage. The sweets were the big draw there. Sample a few varieties of fudge before making your selection. My lady picked up a few cookies. She loved the smores cookie especially after we put it in foil over the campfire for a few minutes. The barbeque is outside behind the store. Its a great value and topped with flavorfull bbq sauce. The rib was pretty good.

Country 84 At least once every summer I take my older daughter there, they have few things for kids to explore. Couple summers ago they had outside a chicken coop but that wasnt the case this past summer(2016). Their ribs are pretty good, fudge is alright for us is too sweet. They have a lot of antiques that you can buy and you can also sell if you have something good. My daughter loves it there, I always come back from there with plastic container filled with candy.

Ive gone here approx. 2 to 4 times a month since I discovered it. Hands down best BBQ in northeastern PA....probably the entire east coast. Not to mention their deli sandwiches.....some of the best around. They also give you a large quantity of food for their moderate prices. Oh yeah, they also have a country store, arcade and Mannings Icecream. Great family place or great place to grab some quick subs.

The portions are huge, so tasty, and homemade. Even their bbq sauce was homemade and amazing!! Dont skip the ice cream it was the best part. Loved the Americana atmosphere! And service was great! Even the small game room in the back was an unexpected surprise. Def going back here.

Another super stop up off the highway - in the hills. Good blend of old and new. A nice offering of sandwiches, ice cream, and beverages. Huge portions and very tasty! Loving the lifers and pulled pork on a ciabatta. Great gift ideas and a lot of it is branded from the Poconos.

The owner was very friendly and made my sandwich exactly how I wanted it. I rated five stars instead of four for two reasons friendliness and the portion size. I order cheesesteak from a lot of different restaurants in the area and theirs was by far the best. Thank you.

Horrible experience. A few of us passed by and ate there, all of us got stomach flu. The meat was not fresh at all. I had pulled pork and brisket. The grilled beans might have issues as well, one of us didnt eat meat, but still got stomach flu. Should be closed.

Eclectic mix like a junk yard. The workers and what looked like local customers were not friendly, just stared at us. Made us feel uneasy. Food service area looked dirty, no way would I eat there.

Great spot for a quick bite when youre on the road. Its pleasant and cozy, also a great place to come with your young ones. A bit of a pocket burner in some instances but 100% worth it.
