My family and I ordered over $40 of food. We all got really sick except for my three year old that refused to eat the food (because he doesnt like Chinese). My older son missed school due to being so sick. We didnt even eat half of the food and called the next day to have the situation fixed. The lady on the phone was rude and would not listen to my problem and tried to say that no one else got sick and we just had a cold because "it was snowing outside" the night before. She told me to call her insurance company because they have "no health code violations". I asked to speak with management and she would only let me give my number for the manager to call back. Management never called me back. After a few days of waiting I took my entire order ($40) in with receipt and all I was offered was and order of chicken with lo mein. I have ordered from her for years for big dinner partys but I do have to say after getting food poisoning and nothing being done about it, I will never order from here again.

Please do not go here. I was in town for work, ordered 35$ worth of food at 4pm. Food shows up at 550pm. No cups for my 2 liter, no silverware, not even a pair of chop sticks. I call back in to complain and the owner starts yelling at me. Oh and come to find out than swiped my credit card 3 times. Now I have to dispute all the charges. I honestly want to go throw this nasty food in the guys face that runs this place. Soggy crab ragoons can really ruin your day. A good business will eat the mistake and do anything to keep the customer happy. Bad reviews can go along way. Youve been warned. Better off going to mcdonalds.

I found out that I could order online from Grub Hub with a minimum order of $15 for free delivery, so I would always do that instead of calling. However, one time they were out of the drink Id asked for and they just replaced it with something else instead of calling to see what I wanted. I would often get the Lemon Chicken because Id had it somewhere else and really liked it. However, it started to taste like cigarettes, so I stopped ordering it - and anything else. I havent tried again in a while to see if I still had the same issue.

Been ordering from here for at LEAST 7 YEARS and was always our fave until this past year. Food not as tasty, deliveries taking longer, same order is moee expensive on a weekend...But FINAL STRAW today when l ordered donuts for my daughter n they came without a single grain of sugar. When we called the woman actually ARGUED that she put the sugar on herself n when i said i.d be happy to bring them back n show her SHE HUNG UP ON ME! Just lost a 7 YEAR CUSTOMER who USED to recommend this place to everyone.

What can I say about my favorite Chinese place happy Garden? Well, the food is good for sure, depending on whos working. Ive had the same dish made differently and it was disappointing. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely disgusting. I went inside once and there was a bin full of dirty dishes on the floor and the place looked like it hadnt been mopped since the Shang dynasty, which is why Im not rating it higher. However, its still one of the best Chinese places around for takeout.

Foods really good, cheapest buffet in town, but feels very crudely run. Fired their previous main hostess who was a white woman who spoke fluent Chinese because a customer complained that they wouldnt lower the buffet price for a child. The new girl barely speaks English. No soda fountain, overpriced bottled drinks. Always out of dinnerware, foam plates. But at the end of the day, what matters is really good really cheap food. 3 stars

Working late at the office last week, I ordered delivery from Happy Garden for the first time. Delivery was prompt and the food was decent. Nothing outstanding, but typical Chinese takeout fare. Everything was prepared as I ordered it, still hot when it arrived, and fairly tasty. Plus, this is currently the only restaurant downtown that accepts online orders via GrubHub, so it makes the process a whole lot more convenient.

The fact that the trays on all u can eat lunch are always empty, I was asking the lady for chicken wings and another guy, told us to wait 5 minutes, waited 9 mins for her to only bring 3 chicken wings, they dont like to fill up as much,very cheap! Also the one girl helping them out is disgusting she keeps touching every where then comes back and touches the trays, nasty , please dont eat there

me and my wife ordered $27.00 and it was the worst we EVER had. by the time we got our food it was ice cold being hungry we said screw it and ate it anyway, i mean cold Chinese food should be good as well. well it made my wife and I very sick for two days! when i told one of the employees all hedid was laugh and thats not good bussiness. we will NEVER order from happy garden again period!

My boyfriend and I have been going here for years, because its the most delightfully mediocre Chinese restaurant in the area. I mean that in the best of ways! The portions are decent for the price, the decor is shabby enough to feel homey, and the staff always seems kinda cold and aloof... but its consistent, if nothing else. I recommend it to my friends a LOT.

Great food but i dont like the attitude i get, always forget something in the order 5 times i order that always miss something .... when i call Back to claim get an attitude and i have to wait 1hr to solved the problem come on plus i have to reheat My food really!? On top of That I dont think i Will buy nothing there again sad to say

DO NOT EAT HERE! the delivery guy smelled like he hadnt showered was in two months, the food that was delivered was cold and it was the wrong order!!!! i called to have it replaced and it took TWO AND A HALF HOURS to receive my replacement food. this is a terrible place, find a different Chinese restaurant. and the wontons suck too.

This place sucks ass!! I ordered general tsaos chicken or whatever and it was disgusting it wasnt flavored correctly and it looked old and soggy! The rice was chewy and even the egg roll was gross I do not recommend this place at all I told them what was wrong and all they kept saying was its ok but its not ok!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Mmmn...delicious food and prompt delivery....only thing Id fix is adding condiments. Add some damned soy sauce and fortune cookies to the bag and Ill add the final star! Other than that, sesame chicken was on fleek, fried rice on fleek, and my niece says the chicken wings taste better than Churchs. Will definitely order again

one of my two favorite favorite delivery joints, love their food,,but,, so often they put someone on the phone who cannot understand english and thinks its funny and laughs. guess they make tons of money and do not need the business. so i then call ALFEES, the best wings in Erie.
