Summer Landing
Awful service. They look annoyed to be helping you, at their job. Not to mention they messed up our order. We noticed once we walked all the back to our spot on the beach. No big deal. We ate our ice cream first, so it would not melt, before walking back. Then our little one needed a diaper change, so there was about a delay in us returning to get the item they missed. Instead of apologizing for their error they gave us a blank stare and turned their back to us to discuss the situation with 2 other staff members. They then complained about how it had been so long before we can back and put our fries on the counter with a look of disgust. The only reason they have business is bc of its convenience to the beach and the fact that its a DQ. The service is terrible.

Nobody is in uniform, yeah maybe a dirty DQ standard shirt, but yoga pants and a pink tank top are far from standard. Slow service for only a blizzard and a smoothie, yes there were other customers but they as well only got a couple of drink/blizzard items. There was sand all over the lobby/order/waiting area causing a slight dead fish smell. It was warmer inside than outside 86*. Yeah they overflow your blizzard with your flavor to suck up to you after you get poor attitudes and a 10min wait. Food turns out amazing, staff and store are horrible. *Speaking with fast food experience.*

The best place in Lewes for Ice Cream in all its various forms. Classic Dairy Queen. Enclosed ordering area (air conditioned). Only feet from Lewes Beach and at a nice crossroads when you want to just drop in for some quick ice cream and head out via Kings Highway. Or enjoy driving down historic Lewes. Just remember to bring lots of cash if you are wanting to get the premium items for your entire family.

A great time to enjoy this DQ is after 6pm because you can order it and then park at Lewes beach (around the corner) for free (after 6pm) then enjoy it on the beach. It is also only a short walk to l ewes beach. This DQ is yummy and they always have friendly staff!

Ive been going to this location for decades. Even when its packed full, the service is always great. The previous comments make no sense. I know hundreds of people who have been there and not 1 has sayed anything bad about it.

Clutch DQ placement on the drive back from the beaches by Lewes, DE. It was pretty busy when we walked in, but the line moved quickly and I had my double soft serve dipped in chocolate within 5 mins. Mmmmm

Classic DQ. The one in Dewey closed so now I hike to Lewes to get my DQ fix. Unfortunately this location has NO seating. Friendly staff and quick service

A quick-and-easy grab for those on the beach. The interior is often sandy and the parking lot can be hectic at times, but the DQ spirit never fails.
