I won’t do reviews on “YELP!” anymore. I did 8 reviews, but they erased “2” of them. Funny, I reviewed a variety of businesses, they think 2 of my reviews are false, but trust 5 of them. I won’t write reviews on Yelp anymore so anyway, PHO THAI NAM….. GOD I LOVE YOU. We ate mostly Thai. For what it’s worth i’m used to GREAT Thai food in Chicago and DC where I’ve lived. Location ********** Easy to find in a strip mall, busy but safe. Decor ******* I won’t go into detail but bottom line, it was clean, comfortable, the air conditioning was COOL and the decor is much nice than the average asian eatery. Entry ****** Friendly greeting by the host, who I later find is one of the owners. BIG PLUS - good greetings are sometimes indicator of a quality business. *Appetizers (Awesome) ************** Chicken Satay was dry. BUT the Fortune Bags, Egg Rolls, Shrimp Blankets and steamed dumplings were GREAT. We even ordered an extra portion of the shrimp during our meal. I asked for extra sweet-sour sauce and they happily brought it. At many asian restaurants they get mean with such requests. *Entrees *********** *Drunken Noodles. The textures and flavors were spot on. *Red Curry. GREAT. Real flavors, real curry/gravy not the store bought watered-down stuff that some places service. Food served piping hot. *Service ************ GREAT, water glass never empty, friendly server. I noticed the owners talking to some regulars for a long time which is nice. I think the owners are hubby-wife, and the Wife came to our table not just with a “how was everything” but truly interested in the food quality, who we were etc. Now get this…. My Wife begs her to open a restaurant in Newtown PA (because Newtown is mostly overpriced, curt-service restaurants we gave up on) and guess what the owner says: “No, because here we have a good staff, we can make sure things are good, make sure the food is consistent and right and if you get two restaurants, the quality might go down in both places” -wow - she is more interested in delivering a quality product than anything else- I’m impressed. Newtown PA is nice where we live, but since the restaurants are “meh” we started to venture out and bottom line: I’ll drive 55 minutes, ONE WAY to eat at this restaurant. We’ll do it 1 - 2 times a month for sure. Great job Pho Thai Nam

Ate in with a Thai friend who is a regular and friendly with the staff. I found the portions to be on the small side, but the prices were low too. I started with the beef, salad, extra spicy. It was excellent, with fresh greens, and not just iceberg lettuce like some other places. All of the other vegetables were fresh and high quality. But, while good, I felt the portion of beef was small. I then had green curry tofu, extra spicy, with brown rice. There was not much tofu at all, though the vegetables were very fresh and well prepared, and overall the dish was tasty. My hunger was not satisfied by the small portions, but my wallet was, and it was good. Service was amazing. Everything was right without having been written down, including special requests. Server checked on everything periodically, refilled water and napkins almost automatically, and was otherwise attentive. I would definitely go back. I would just have to order more food.

Always hit the spot... Delicious food and Excellent service bundled in an adequately priced package Ive tried almost every item in their menu which is fairly extensive. Youll never be sorry if you choose the Pho and Pad Thai, as staple of any Vietnamese-Thai restaurants, and that is what they do best. The food is prepared quickly and tastes fresh. The portions are ok; I usually get appetizer(usually Chicken Satay) and an entree(Pho, Pad Thai, Com Ga Nuong(grilled chicken),Pad See-eiw Chicken) or a large bowl of Pho. The food is tastes clean and what mean about that...you can tell that not much oil was used to prepare it..l leave with as little guilt as I can. that is a treat after hitting the gym. A default for when family comes visit; they all like it here too. Their wait staff are always sweet and pleasantly mannered. Definitely checkout Pho Thai Nam.

Went with my husband for a late lunch on a saturday. We got the sampler appetizer to share. I had the brisket and steak pho and my husband had the pad thai. It was way too much food, but we really wanted to try a few different things since we had never been there before. Everything was wonderful! Ive eaten a lot of Pho, at a lot of different restaurants, and I really thought this was among the best! My husband also really enjoyed his pad thai. Prices were reasonable, pretty much on par with any other Vietnamese/Thai restaurant. Everyone who worked there was really friendly and the decor is nice as well. We will definitely go back.

This is one of those places you wish the service and the food were in two different categories for ratings. The food was excellent, but the service was mediocre. The girl greeted us and sat us down and almost seemed that she threw the menus at us. She was really busy, so she didnt take any extra time to make our experience calm or relaxing. She cleared the plates the moment there was nothing on them and didnt offer any specials, appetizers or desert. Im giving this place 4 stars because the food was truly delicious.

This was the first time I went to Pho Thai Nam and it will be the last. I dont know how they can call themselves "Thai" food when there was no Thai spices. The Pad See-eiw Chicken was more like the Chinese Mei Fun and lacked any kind of taste. The Pad Thai was also extremely disappointing. Both was so blend and tasteless that my husband and I only took a few bites and throw them away. What a waste of money.

The atmosphere is great; low-key but classy, with a friendly and happy staff. Its our go-to restaurant when family visits town. I love the deluxe rice platter, spring rolls, and basil fried rice. Another plus is theyre able to make things as spicy as my wife likes. One of my favorite spots in the area!

A gem of a Thai lunch place. I had the massaman chicken curry and tom yum soup. The curry was very flavorful and mildly sweet. The tom yum soup was also quite good. Service is quick and efficient and the hostess has a great smile and welcoming demeanor. I wish I had time to try more.

Beautifully decorated with origami strands and other ethnic items. Pho is very tasty, super rich flavor. Steamed chicken dumplings also great. Everything I have ordered here has been exceptional. Always been quick to be seated and servers are very friendly. Absolutely recommend.

Decent pho. Im used to good cheap pho from south jersey or philly. So this pho to me is overpriced and under-flavored. I prefer to pay max $8 for pho and this place wants $10 and the bowl isnt even that big. If youve had good city pho youll be disappointed. Go to Pho Kitchen

I take my family there all the time. We get one order of Chicken Pad Thai for 3 kids (its a huge order). And the adults get Pho. The service is always good. This place gets packed sometimes but Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes to get a seat.

Ive lived near here for over a year. Every time I go here the food seems to taste better with each visit. I love the veggie spring rolls. Pho bowls are so massive its hard finish. But worth the effort. The whole menu is a great selection to choose from.
