The Farmhouse Restaurant in Avondale, PA is without a doubt THE best restaurant. My husband and I went there to celebrate Valentines Day this past weekend and I had the best dinner I have ever had. The service is without doubt the best anywhere; the food is amazing; the overall experience is perfect. Anyone wanting to have a nice, cozy, amazing meal and be treated like the only customer in the place needs to go to The Farmhouse. Cant thank them enough for making it a perfect night in every way.

They hosted our annual Christmas party in 2016 and the food along with service was awesome! Many of the hort staff who live in the area dine here on special occasions. The crab cakes were the best Ive eaten anywhere. Great draught beer selection with a varied wine selection left no one wanting for anything.

Really interesting place to eat. I think it is literally an old farm house, and it looks and feels like it. Food is really good. We had a French server who we found entertaining and fun (you might think annoying and in your face). Is expensive but was an experience.

I have been going to the Farmhouse for dinner and special occasions for 20+ years. It is hands down the best restaurant for classy upscale dining in this area. If you have not tried their crab-cakes, then you have not had crab-cakes.

Pretty bad hostess (once she actually showed up). Slow service. Never got offered a refill or even a drink refresh. It really felt like we werent wanted. Food was good. The beautiful summer evening kept our spirits up.

The service was very slow (2+ hours for dinner). Meals were average and did not equal price point. Atmosphere was very nice (the place is well appointed), but awkwardly quiet, perhaps adding some music.

Actually in an old farm house, nice place. We were a party of seven and seated comfortably, food, drinks and service (Bruno) very good. Lump crab cakes really good. We all enjoyed our dinners.

Well decorated, welcoming, and clean. Food was delicious and arrived quickly. As a fun fact: Eugene Gagliardi (the inventor of Steak-Umms) is a regular here for the cheesesteak!!!
