Just left here all this review that read all all wrong this is the worst place to eat I order a appetizer of shrimp egg roll well the size of this where big but oil dripping out of them not only that there where no shrimp in the egg roll I ask her if this was shrimp egg row she said yes I didnt even touch the other end egg roll I told her to look for a shrimp in that egg roll well she told me that it a baby shrimp so for two egg roll you get one baby shrimp in one wow so I told her I was not going to pay for the egg roll and she told me that she will charge me half wow really. And the lemon Chicken tasted like he went to KFC and chop it up it was not white meat at all so for those of you that go here well Im guessing this all you have as for me this the worst place I have ever eat in for the price of $17 they have to be better food than this.

The Asian Bistro opened up last fall here in Newberg, OR. It has the best service and Chinese food in Newberg. They have mastered the preparation of any shrimp dish. Their flavors are fresh and they have wonderful brown rice as an alternative to white. Their lunch menu includes soup and a spring roll along with the entree. Their hot and sour soup is the best I have EVER tasted, and I consider myself and expert in hot and sour soup. Prices are reasonable and the people are wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner!!

If I could give a zero I would. I order Szechuan beef and Kung Pao chicken. I picked up to go. When I got home I dont even know what it was but a slimy mess that I paid 21.00 dollars for. I tried to call and tell them what I got. They did not want a picture. They insisted my description was what I ordered. I know the food and this was not it. They just argued. Dont go. Dont try it. There are other restaurants in Newberg. I own a business and would be out of business if I treated people like that.

Was excited to try somewhere new after seeing such rave reviews...sadly was the worst dining out experience in some time. The tea and soup were served luke warm and the service was so very slow. It was slow to the point we had to ask for our dinner to go after over 45min. of waiting without being served. In getting home we were further disappointed in the food itself. The Kung Pow Chicken literally tasted like cigarette butts and the rest of the food was bland at best. Will never go back!

This place is a great dive chinese place. Outside appearance of the place is the only drawback. service is outstanding, portions are larger than they should be, and the chicken is good...not big chunks of fat with a little chicken mixed in! Good solid white meat all the way(well, on the dishes I like anyways). Are there better Chinese places in the area...well, it depends on what you consider "area"...in a 10 mile radius? NO.

I had the Scallops & mushrooms, very nice. The scallops and mushrooms were lightly sauteed, and put in a mellow, rich or buttery tasting sauce. BF had the General Tsaos chicken, which isnt breaded, in a nice spicy sauce thats more spicey and less sweet than at other spots. Our friends had some special-needs that the staff was happy to modify their recipes for. The staff kept the tea coming while we sat and chatted.

Happy family, formerly Asian Bistro, is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Newberg. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The waitress that usually works at Happy Family always remembers my husband and is happy when we bring friends. My favorite dish to order is Combo #2, which I like to call the "super pork special." You guessed it, everything in the combo is made from pork.

If you just need to feed your face this place is for you and the price is right. For those with discerning taste, steer clear. Anyone with a bag of peas and carrots in their freezer can cook up something similar for themselves at home. Our server was inexperienced and we had to ask for more tea multiple times, but these are things I really dont care about when the food is great.

So good! Eden Gate was rude when my friend went in so he went down the street to Happy Family. It is our new to go place. Lucky Fortune used to be that but their combo options just didnt work for us. Happy family uses no MSG. The flavor comes from the food. Try them. Youll be happy you did!

used to come to this place every weekend when I lived in Oregon for a year. Ive been in Florida now for two years since then and I still dream about their egg drop soup and food. Amazing Place probably the best I had in Oregon and I traveled quite a bit
