WOW is the first word that comes to mind while dining at McMinnvilles Crescent Cafe. The food is made fresh, and of the highest quality ingredients from local sources. The menu is on the smaller side, but they come up with new choices everyday. This is the 1st quality breakfast spot Mcminnville has ever seen. The prices are not too spendy, and the size of plates are fare. But, this place stands out from any other in all of Yamhill county. Clean enviroment and outstanding customer service also sets this place above parr. I will always come back to the Crescent Cafe, as well as my friends and family. I recommend the Crescent Cafe to anyone who enjoys a great breakfast with attentive service. They actually care here, unlike other places. Try them, and youll always come back.

My past experiences were all positive in every category and consideration, but todays visit has left me wondering if I will ever return?! While one-half of the dining room staff was truly remarkable, the other half was the epitome of rudeness with a smile. And while I did not order the Potatoes Obrien, I found it to be a very pleasant surprise and worthy of selecting in the future in lieu of my usual hashbrowns. And as for the omelette... How ever do they get the eggs so light and fluffy?! I thought I was in Heaven until I found a pubic hair on the plate where I took my last bite from! No, I didnt complain and even gave a healthy tip, but as to whether or not Ill make it back to what used to be my favorite, quaint cafe in downtown Mac remains to be seen....

The food was bomb! And I feel like we met everybody that worked there. They were all very sweet and professional. I had the fried cornmeal. It came with a choice of bread and eggs. I chose the biscuit. It was shaped wonderfully and tasted amazing. The fried cornmeal was super. It didnt have the texture of cornmeal, but was rather silky. Ill probably have to order that next time. Overall, I was surprised by the quality and the artistic dedication, as well as the rich flavor and 3D shape of the food. All for around $10 per plate.

The food was good, local ingredients and fresh, but it lacked that extra level of enjoyment from similar restaurants food. They get super busy and people waiting can line the streets and while youd think its because they have amazing food, in reality the service was quite slow contributing to the long waits inside and out. It was good but Im not likely to return with so many other great places around town. I agree with the awkwardness of people waiting outside watching you eat...

My husband and I went to the Cafe for Mothers day. We waited for an hour to be seated, Placed our order and waited another 30 minutes. Our son who is 18 months old was playing a little too loudly, and we were asked to leave. He was very rude about it. I was extremely embarrassed. The couple that was there with us was told they could stay. Pretty unexpected and rude especially on Mothers Day. We will not be eating at the Crescent Cafe again.

In response to the Mothers Day complaint; honestly, I am impressed they asked them to remove their loud child. I have children, I love little kids, but there is a time & place for them - a nice restaurant is not it. I have had many meals that I intended to enjoy and pay a little higher price point ruined by somebody elses children. Get a sitter and/or dine at a kid-friendly restaurant.

This is my first review, inspired by an amazing breakfast. I had the fried cornmeal, husband had the smoked trout with capers and creamed cheese..both came with phenomenal homemade bread. Not enough superlatives considering Im really not a breakfast person. It was graduation morning so there WAS a wait but we were given fair warning. So stinking good I can t even tell you.

I used to work for these guys and let me tell you what back in the kitchen when you the customers cant hear them they talk bad about some of the regulars and people who are supposed to be friends. they arent very clean back there either so If it looks like pepper but doesnt taste like pepper it very may well not be!!!!!!! it has been 2 years so maybe things have changed!!!

Food was ok, not great but super slow. There are only 8-10 tables in the whole place yet it took almost an hour to get food. In the mean time people are waiting to be seated outside so they are staring in the window as you sit there uncomfortably waiting for your meal. No reason it should take that long to serve a breakfast. Would not go back.

This place was amazing. My experience was that the owner was really cool and proud of what they do. Every. Single. Morsel. Exploded with flavor. It is a favorite of my family and Im happy I finally got to go. Fresh produce from his farm. Everybody raves about the fresh OJ and the bread... wow.

Amazing food and service. We travel over an hour just for breakfast at this wonderful place. The fresh bread and daily specials are to die for, and talk about farm to table... The host is absolutely delightful. It is like a meal with family. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

Not only is the food here unparalleled in creativity and taste, but the service staff is incredibly friendly and takes the time to get to know you. Youll see a lot of regulars here because of the welcoming environment the staff fosters. There may be a bit of a wait, but its certainly worth it.

i went for dinner last weekend, had excellent service and excellent food at very reasonable price. the server was attentive, professional and accommodating, for dinner i tried halibut and chips. the fish was fresh, portion was plentiful and the food was not oily ( chips and fish breading).

Random strangers coming out of the Crescent told us it was "killer" food. We took their advice and were not disappointed. Blueberry pancakes were full of fresh blueberries, and the open face omelet special was excellent. Will come back and tell friends.

Best breakfast my fiance and I have had in a long time. A little on the pricy side but well worth it. The food is amazing. Be prepared to wait for seating. Due to the size and the popularity, the cafe is always full. But again, it well worth it.

This is our 3rd time here and have been amazed each time by the quality of the food. We have never been disappointed with the food, or felt like we should have ordered something else. The service is always friendly and helpful.

This little gem was a nice surprise. There was a 30 min wait when we arrived for breakfast and we almost went somewhere else but we are SO glad we did not! The bread is amazing. Very generous portions and the staff was great.

While waiting, they slipped a local party in before us. Then they served another local party before us. If youre passing through town and you dont mind the local special treatment, the food is good and unique but expensive.
