If you are visiting the little town of Lebanon, Oregon and have the taste buds for spicy foods and great customer service, Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant would be a great place to stop by and eat. Food- The food at Ixtapa is outstanding, even if you dont like Mexican food there is also a part of the menu that is American food. The food comes on time and hot! Their menu is very well priced for how much food you get and you leave very full and satisfied. Atmosphere- The atmosphere at Ixtapa is relaxing and not uptight. There wall decorations are beautiful, and the chairs in the restaurant are even decorated and painted in the back as well. There is Mexican music in the background but low enough so you can hear each other talk. Service- Not only dos the place look great and the food is to die for, but the customer service is wonderful! The whole Ixtapa staff is outgoing and easy to talk to. They are characters and make you feel comfortable in the restaurant. They check up on how you are doing and how your food is quite often with your visit there. Price- As I said previously, the price is good for how much food you get, and for me I am always taking home leftovers when I go to Ixtapa. I would recommend going here if you never have, it is a good experience and the people are amazing.

Most of the food is not too good. I have found a few item I like(cheese enchiladas). Beans are very thinned down good but good they only give you a small amount. Salsa and chips are good. There Chili relleno is a chili no cheese rapped in a thin small omelet. A chili relleno should be a chili stuffed with cheese dipped in a thick foamy egg batter and deep fried. There tacos are almost like taco bells. Do not really care for any of there beef, so that really makes it hard to find something good. Pricey after remodel! I like the free desert!

Ive been here too many times to count. There is always a margarita special for 4.25 and a couple of beer specials for under 4.00. My favorite thing to order is the carne asada burrito. They marinade the steak so its always juicy and full of flavor. Other favorites are the Marco blanco burrito and anything with mole on it. The service is always great especially from Andres and Blanca. Its hands down the best Mexican spot in Lebanon. The bar is a good place to watch some soccer, especially if the Mexican national team is playing.

My husband and I have been coming here for over 20 years. Since we were teenagers. We love the fast friendly service as well as the yummy food. We now have both our boys addicted to Ixtapa as well! We especially love our favorite waiter, Andrew. He always remembers us and gets us with his and high fives! Always take out of town family here for dinner. Has been awesome to see them grow fromm small place they used to be to new place now. Love that most of staff have been there for years. We will keep coming back again and again!

This will always be my favorite place to go for anything, a celebration, family dinner, or just because. The staff is so nice! I eat here quite often and I generally order the same thing, you can tell they cook their stuff fresh because every time it tastes slightly different, but always great. Best chips and salsa Ive ever had! Quick, friendly, and professional service. Best place to eat in Lebanon, hands down.

My parents and I have been coming here for years, back before they tore down the old place and built it bigger and nicer. The staff have always treated us well, the owner occasionally coming by to check how were doing. The food has been great and theres plenty of things on the menu to get. Its the nicest place in Lebanon and the only Mexican restaurant I would recommend.

We went today as a party of 10 . It was really friendly and quick our server Andres was great very friendly and seemed to really enjoy his job our food came out quick and it was HUGE portion the only thing I didnt like was the food was a little bland it need more seasoning and their prices seemed high but all in all I would recommend it to a friend

This is by far not the worst or best Mexican food Ive had. It is about middle of the road. That being said, in a small town like Lebanon it fits well. The staff was friendly, the food was well priced. I felt the restaurant was a bit darker and dirtier than I would have preferred. Overall I would eat here again.

This is probably my umteenthmillion time here... as usual, my wife and I have had the best food with the best service. Everytime we come here its like my very first time, and I am in total awe! Everything from the the pollo to camarones montery, the negro modelo to the margaritas is fabulous!

If you want to sit down at the nicest Mexican restaurant in town, Ixtapa is the place. Friendly staff, delicious food, large portions, great atmosphere. You can also order takeout. Prices are typical for a sit-down restaurant. A long-standing and beloved part of the the Lebanon community.

We have been going here for almost 20 years. The staff is like our friends. Everyone is very friendly and we love their food. Having lived in more southern areas, my only complaint is that the food isnt spicy hot the way I like. But other than that I can always add more hot sauce.

This is one of the cleanest restaurants in the entire state. We were impressed with the atmosphere and presentation of service and food. A wonderful experience in dining. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended and will go back whenever we are in the area.

This place grows on you. I am addicted to their chips and salsa, Just rebuilt their restaurant (the old one was kinda gross) and enlarged menu. Some dishes are pricey but easy to find cheaper options. Servers remember regular customers and are very friendly.

Clean, tasty food, excellent service and very honest employees. I made a mistake when paying my bill and didnt keep my receipt. I contacted them days later and they searched their copies, found my receipt and corrected my error! Very grateful!

Weve been going to Ixtapa for years, and sometimes order takeout. The service is always excellent, but the food is what keeps us going back. They have a large menu, but I like the sizzing steak fajitas too much, so I pretty much always get that.

Basic Mexican food in cozy decorated restaurant. Tasted great, but thats largely due to the fact everything is cooked in lard. For the area, might be one of the best restaurants around, depending on your food preferences.

I enjoyed the Chile Colorado here. The chicken fajitas just tasted like olive oil and the steak carnitas were bland. Ive been three times, service was great all three times but the food was disappointing overall.

Great people! Didnt rush us through our meal. Brought out a hat to sing when I mentioned my daughters birthday. Great menu with plenty of vegetarian, meat & seafood choices. Very affordable with large portions!
