What a bad experience for what should have been a good night out. I stopped into this Olive Garden around 9pm tonight, the please was not very busy. The hostess was at her station and staff seemed to be just hanging out. I said "2 for dinner please" and she raised her finger and said "please wait while I find you a table", the raised finger got my goat, not to mention there were empty tables everywhere. She had us wait for a few minutes and then said "follow me". She took us into a small back room where there were two families with loud misbehaving children enjoying themselves in the middle of the floor. I thought that was odd, since there were people elsewhere on that side of the restaurant and available tables elsewhere that she choose such and inappropriate spot. Anyway, I choose another table close by that was set up and vacant. You would have thought I had taken her firstborn child. Such an attitude as she said "Well, sure" turned her back and walked away. I asked for a manager and waited, then went to the front and asked again. The person in charge was not the manager and had nothing to say, as though such poor attitude and behavior was acceptable. I asked for the District Managers contact information and the personal in charge disappeared never to return. This was my 3rd time to this location, and frankly, my last time at an Olive Garden. Its just not worth the aggravation. We ended up next door at the Applebees and had a great dinner with great friendly service. They were busier than the Olive Garden, I guess the locals know.

Im not sure if this particular Olive Garden was woefully understaffed or just lacking in its service, but either way, my wife and I will not return. The wait time wasnt too bad (10-15 min for a table of during the dinner hour). We were seated and immediately told the hostess we wouldnt need menus, we would both be ordering the all-you-can-eat pasta bowl. Our server did arrive soon thereafter and our order was placed. Nothing special: pasta and sauce. I assume they make lots of it during the all-you-can-eat promotion. 40 minutes later, we were still waiting on our first serving of pasta. Salad and breadsticks are fine, but thats not what we came for. The people at the next table, who were seated just after us, were visibly irritated by the slow service as well (different server) and waited longer than we did for their entrees. When our first serving of pasta arrived, we told the server we needed to place our next order right then, as it had taken so long to get the first that we needed to leave soon to pick our kids up from the babysitters. We also asked if he could bring the check. After some time, the 2nd bowl arrived, but no check. Had to wait some more for the check, and then for the check to come back. We both left hungry, disappointed and irritated at the lack of service. Hire some more people, train your staff better or be more prepared during a promotion. The food we did get to eat did taste good, especially the alfredo, but overall it was $20 wasted.

I called the restaurant to reserve their room for a business luncheon meeting. The young man I spoke to suggested calling the day of the meeting but the meeting was to start at 11:00 am, I asked that he talk to the waite staff to make sure the room was reserved, he said "no problem". I called the day of the meeting at 10:45 am and spoke with a woman to confirm the number of people for our meeting room reservation. The woman said she would "take care of it". The "problem" started when they opened the doors. The room unavailable for the group when they arrived and it would not be provided, they were told Olive Garden doesnt take reservations. They were forced to have their meeting in the noisy main room. Next, SERVICE WAS HORRENDOUS!! If this is how the Olive Garden "takes care of it" I cant imagine what things would be like if they decided there was a problem. Note to Management: Of the 10-12 business people in attendance, can you imagine what these people will tell their friends and business acquaintances who will in turn tell their friends and business aquaintances about this type of customer service? This really is the ONLY type of "word of mouth" publicity you CAN buy.....

my husband and i stopped in for a quick bite to eat. it was nice that the waitress brought us wine samples (the red wine was 11.25/glass) the most expensive on the menu and alittle tannic. i chose another wine. we both ordered the seafood brodetto per our waitresses high recommendations .. she was very sweet and between the frequent 10 minute vists to our table by her and the manager (i suppose) to see how we were doing, it was hard to have a conversation and it would of been nice to have alittle more privacy. if we need anything, we are pretty capable of making our needs known. the asparagus was tasty, the bread sticks dry and tasteless (but butter helped) and the main dish was bland. no seasoning or imagination at all put into the dish. salt and pepper helped and we only ate 1/2 and took the rest home. the next day, we used the leftovers and added several spices and made a cream sauce and served over fresh pasta. if you are used to fine italian dining like a cena or tabla, this really is substandard for the money we paid (about 80.00) the ambience was more like a diner and noisy

Were a frequent olive garden visitor, but the service here was so bizarre! My boyfriend waited nearly 20 minutes for a water refill, after being assured 2 times that the waiter would get him water. He literally couldnt eat his food because he was so thirsty! Then, when the bill came, we had to split it a few ways, and instead of letting us do it, the waiter did it on the tablet. Turns out, they didnt let us pick the tip amount, or give us printed receipts. But I didnt think too much of it because we were all having a good time. It wasnt until I saw on my bank statement that the waiter had clicked 20% on our tip without consulting us. WHAT THE HECK? Ive never had this happen before. On top of that, they overcharged my brother at our table for a on the house birthday desert, in addition to adding an automatic 20% tip. This is so unacceptable!

We stopped in here at about 7 p.m. on a Tuesday night. It wasnt super crowded, and they seated us immediately at our table. Our server immediately took our drink order and promptly brought us our drinks and refills. The food order was taken promptly, and the salad and breadsticks or brought to the table soon after and they consistently refilled those without having to be asked. The food arrived in a timely manner, and they were still willing to bring salad and breadsticks even after wed finished the main course. I am sure it can get quite crowded and busy here during dinner hours, especially on the weekends. I cant comment on the restaurant during those times, but on a weekday evening it was a pleasant experience with my family.

I have to give this experience a les than favorable review. My company spends thousands at Olive Garden for gift cards for clients thoughtout the year. Not to mentiin the business lunches ect. I was give an honerary member card so to speak. Since they dont really have a VIP as i would call it.. That being said the onduty manager at the lake oswegolocation new years eve Confiscated my card and said he.had to. Yet no one else has ever questioned my using this card. Let alone take it from me. Im appalled.. No worries im sure the manager at the Beaverton location wlll like always. Should have known] that no one would treat us like we deserve. Guess its best to stay with what ya know.
