Today was my wifes birthday and we went into flying pie, lake oswego and ordered a medium combo supreme and all you can eat salad bar. We have always liked this place and have even told others about it. Today was a completely different experience and I doubt we will be back. To start we dont mind waiting 25 minutes for a good pizza but as we waited we couldnt help but notice how dirty the restaurant was, from the window seals to the picture frames to the floors and tables the place needed a good cleaning and the employees seemed to be oblivious to it. The salad bar which I should have looked at before I ordered was disgusting and not worth $8.00. There were very little vegetables to choose from, at least 5 of there containers were empty. What was there, was not fresh. The beets were mushy and discolored, the cherry tomatoes were soft, the garbanzo beans were old and really nothing at the salad bar looked fresh! It looked as though someone just took it out of the walk-in and put it out without even looking at it to see if it was presentable As we were ready to leave we tried to get the attention of one of the workers to get a box for our left over pizza but were unsuccessful. I finally just got up, walked over to the counter, reached over and got one myself. As we walked out no one acknowledged us or thanked us. I doubt we will be back! One final note... the Pizza was pretty good, NOT GREAT! Given our overall experience we just didnt enjoy it as much as we usually do. It just seemed tasteless!

In a town where the pizza joints battle it out against the thai places, one can afford to be hyper-critical when it comes to their pie. Not so much if you live in L.O., where your choices are far more limited. Luckily, theres a Flying Pie out here, and they happen to be one of my fave pizza spots. This is not low-cal, hipster, artisan crafted with organic ingredients grown on a single owner farm pizza place. This is a classic pizzeria. They put so many toppings on their pies that I often have to take some off, its just too abundant. You can order a smaller size pie than you might think, only because this pizza is very filling. Ive almost never left the place without some leftovers, no matter how many in our party or how big/small the pie. Pricing is on the higher side for pizza, but the quality of toppings and generosity of toppings makes it a fine value. No delivery, but you can order your pie, hit New Seasons for some groceries, and kill two birds with one stone. Do call your order in, even if you plan on dining in, they can tend on the slower side, though their time estimates tend to be pretty accurate. Oh, and the Italian sausage or linquica is a real treat if you like that sort of thing.

The crust is mediocre, but ultimately irrelevant. This pizza is about toppings, and they are phenomenal and piled high. The Italian sausage that they use is particularly impressive and you would do yourself a disservice not to order something that included it. The price is high, the wait is long, the pies are heavy and cumbersome to carry back home, and you really do need to eat these slices with a fork unless you want a toppings avalanche, but its certainly worth it in the end. This is one of the notably better pizza places outside the fortress of Portland.

Frankly I was turned off by the price at first, but thats because I didnt expect the quality pizza that I received. Cooked to order and absolutely overloaded with fresh toppings youll need a fork to pick up everything that falls off each slice. And the ingredients really are fresh, this being one of the few places I know that I can get non pickled jalapenos on my pizza. This is one of those joints where you get what you pay for.

$4 cheese slices during the week make for a great lunch hour. Pizzas come in NY style amd Chicago style. They have a good cheese to sauce ratio. Expect fresh toppings to be piled high. Always a treat. Fun and friendly staff always willing to help. Plenty of seating. Arcade games towards the back make this a great place for families. Join their rewards program to earn free slices and whole pies. They do serve alcohol.

There is a reason I come back here with friends and family! The food is excellent, and a great price! The staff are always cool people, and the atmosphere is 80s arcade and feels right! It is a kid friendly place where you can still have a beer, a slice and a salad from the salad bar! The lunch special is awesome too! A slice with a salad, breadstick, and a drink! No complaints from me, only satisfaction! Thank you!

Wonderful pizza! Though a bit spendy flying pies crams as much ingredients on the pizza. You get a mountain of delicious mess! The service is minimal but the staff is friendly. Be ready to grab your own glass of beverage and plates and forks. Even the pizza must be picked up from the counter to your seat. Even though its called flying pies these pizzas are piled on so high none of these pizzas will be flying anytime soon.

The staff here is entertaining and the food is very affordable, making it a great place to stop with friends. I had the Chicken Mesquita pizza and breadsticks. The pizza was quite good, but the breadsticks were cold and a little tough, though at 4 for a dollar, it was still a good deal. They also have some decent beers on tap. While not the best pizza in town, its a good pizza for an affordable price.

This place is known to every Lake O high school kid and parent. Amazing, Amazing Amazing pizza. Different than any you have tried. Toppings are piled high on fresh tossed crust. The atmosphere is awesome with lots of things to look at and games to play. You can watch the pizza crust being hand tossed, sauced and loaded with toppings. Great salad bar. A must for any Lake Oswego family.

I long for a NYcity quality pizza by slice. This is close in quality (not the crust) but the cheese & toppings are high quality and taste. Slice with can of soda runs 4 to 5 dollars depending on toppings. Try the sausage which is sooo good. Skimp on sauce so ask for extra. 1 slice is a dinner/lunch.

Lots of choices - thick, thin, extra thin crust. The artichoke heart, roasted red bell pepper and feta pizza is phenomenal. Toppings are piled high and if you like meat on your pizza, this is the place to go. I agree its a long wait, but good pizza takes time...

LONG WAIT - 45+ mins and the place was empty. I could go to the store, buy all the ingredients, go home, toss my own crust and bake it in the same amount of time. Staff more interested in their own conversations than the customer. Pizza was good so 2 stars.

Staff is nice. Pizza is great--but might actually be *too* much. I can eat about 1/2 as many pieces than with other pizza places. They also have a decent arcade area with 1+ pinball machines and 3+ console game machines.

Awesome pizza. Very interesting atmosphere with two hd TVs showcasing the big game or the newest show. Even has an arcade for fun while you are waiting for your pizza. And by the way the slices are HUGE
