There has been a serious decline in food quality and service at this place for the past year but our experience yesterday was the last straw and has caused them to lose a customer for good. We stopped in for lunch and ordered the Italian nachos, which weve been ordering for years, and a turkey club with fries. When the nachos came, I could immediately tell something was wrong with them because the chips were very chewy. To ensure it wasnt just one bad chip, I tried a few, and then had my husband do the same. Every one was the same so I called the next restaurant employee who walked past our table over to tell them. She said "Yeah, they arent our normal chips and I heard them talking to the supplier about it the other day and found out they substituted other chips". Based on this reply, they clearly knew there was an issue with the quality. Why they continued to serve this menu item to their customers was a mystery so I asked the server to talk to the manager. Guess what? The same person who already told me they "heard someone talking to the supplier" comes back to the table and says "you wanted to talk to me again?" So, she was the manager! I asked her why they didnt at least tell the customers that the dish wasnt what they usually served so that the customer had the chance to pick something else when she herself had already talked to the supplier and KNEW there was an issue. She immediately became very rude and defensive, saying that no one else was complaining. Well, thats funny because the manager themselves, who turns out to be her, already complained to the supplier. Bottom line, she could have cared less. Then, when the original server brought our bill, she slammed it down on our table. Yes, she actually slammed it down without a single word and walked away. So that you get the whole story on their food, the "turkey club with fries" had 10 fries on the plate. Last but no least, were members of their "club" so had been earning points over the past years to earn rewards. Back in January, we hit the "free set of glasses" mark so we asked for them at this same restaurant. They didnt have any so took our name/number and would call us when they came in. We waited 30 days, still no call. We called the restaurant and they said they still werent in but theyd call us. Waited another 30 days, still no call, so I emailed their rewards team at the corporate office. It took 6 MONTHS to get the set of glasses so clearly their rewards program is also worthless. DO NOT BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEY HERE, THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT!!

Wife and I like to have lunch and beer here as the pizza is wonderful. However, on this day, we sat outside and the landscapers started trimming bushes around where we were eating. After a bit we were forced inside ( on such a nice day to be outside) due to noise, dust and gas fumes from trimmers. Finished lunch inside and went out to our car to find it totally covered with dust from landscapers. Talked to the manager only to have her tell us it wasnt the problem of O.C., it was the property managements problem and wanted to know what she wanted O.C. to do about it. One, we tried to have a nice lunch on O.C.s outdoor patio which is theirs. Two, we parked in O.C. parking lot. Three, when we go to O.C. for lunch, everything that happens on their property is the responsibility of O.C. Four, manager was un caring and totally brushed us off. Lastly, its our money that we can and will take to any number of places to eat that might just want our business! Only reason for two stars is because the food and server were good.

I just left there, I was really disappointed. I dined here nine years ago and the service and food was excellent. But today, its a different story. My husband and I sat down and the server didnt serve us any water and bread, we had to request water from another server. Where the people next to us got water and bread from our server. I wanted to place a takeout order and was going to give my order to the server and she just walked away in disgusted and threw up her hands. My husband ordered another beer, and another server was going to give it to another table. Its a shame, I get top notch service at Toms Pancake House and the food is cooked throughly. I will not dine or carryout food from Old Chicago on Evergreen again.

This is not the best pizza you will ever have, but it is a shining star compared to the other offerings in/around Beaverton. They have very flavorful sauce and toppings, and the pies are baked hot with plenty of gooey, stringy mozzarella. I love that they are open late (past midnight), and their beer selection is extensive (many offerings are on tap). Digging into a large, Chicago style "Meat Me" pie with a cold beer of choice is a comforting craving that I cant seem to shake. Ive never eaten from their non-pizza menu, but I highly recommend a visit to Old Chicago if you are a local and you dont feel like driving into Portland.

Have been visiting this location regularly to work on the World Beer Tour, and every visit gets a little worse. The wait staff barely seems like they care, though the bar staff is much better. They are often out of beers they have listed on the menu, or in some cases never had them to begin with. Today weve had 3 errors with our order so far, and would not be surprised to have another before we leave. Weve decided to drive 25 minutes to a different location for future visits, even though this location is 5 minutes from home. This level of service is unacceptable for the price you pay for each visit.

Finally found great pizza in portland area after searching for years. The tavern style pizza is exactly what any chicagoan looking for a taste of home wants. Plenty of cheese with a sweet sauce, an abundance of oregano, and even that cornmeal dusted feel on the crust. If they just let the place fall apart a little bit, serve Old Style, and hung up some blackhawks (or winterhawks) jerseys the place would 100% perfect. The apps were good too! We had jalepeno pretzel bites, fried ravioli, and the jerk spiced fries. All great but choosing between the apps and the pizza was heart wrenching.

Good food, but the last time I was there, the service was horrrible! We walked in and stood there for about 10 minutes waiting to be seated, a waitress finally came and said it would be a minute before they had a table available. Of the 30 or so tables in the restraunt area there were only 5 that were occupied. She said she would have to find us a table. The place was empty, why couldnt she just seat us, get our drink order and tell us it would be a while before our waiter came to take our order? needless to say we walked out. I will eat there again, though...

Old Chicago has a lot of potential. Great beer selection, huge pizzas, awesome beer tours, good members club card program. The problem I find is that service is often lacking. I wouldnt say bad service; the servers have all been very nice. It just seems understaffed all the time. There seems to be one waiter/waitress covering the entire bar area all the time, and 15 waiters/waitresses covering the slightly larger dining room. Been there 7 times and 6 of those times the waiter(ess) has been scrambling to get to all the tables. Still worth checking out though.
