So I went and gave the local roasters a shot since theyre right down the road from where I live. The setting is definitely nice if youre trying to get out to do some work. I ordered a Macchiato, and chatted with the barista for a bit. Very friendly, and he literally mentioned that they roast in house, which is definitely much more appreciated for those who like "local" coffee. The lady working with him was also nice and friendly. The drink was good in itself, and they also take roughly the right amount of time to pull their shots (at least 20 seconds and up, unlike Starsucks, which isnt real coffee). Support local, if you have recommendations, email them. I read a lot of bad reviews on here, and if they as a company dont check them, they can never assess the feedback in improving. Their site is easy to access, so drop them a line if youre going to give them such a review, to simply help. (This is from a former co-owner of a coffee shop in Hood River)

Good coffee, sure. However the barista behind the counter acted pretentious and had the personality of a dead moth. Very short with me and seemed rude. I dont usually go out of my way to leave a review, but this being me first time there and leaving feeling like I wasnt welcome from the attitude of the red haired fellow behind the counter, I felt compelled to. Also my drink was wrong, I didnt argue cause I already felt like a burden by ordering a simple drink off the menu. My drink was close enough (iced not blended) so no big deal there. Over all I give them 2 stars for the coffee being of good taste and quality but -3 stars for the service. I like to branch out from the large coffee companies as frequently as possible but this experience made me feel as though maybe I should stick to Starbucks.

I went to get a coffee after a co-worker recommended this place as the best around this area. I asked for a Breve Mocha, but only wanted 1/4 of the sweetness. I reiterated the request about 1/4 sweet twice. When I called back to say that my coffee was as sweet as hot chocolate, I was given the option of coming right back.....my lunch time was already up.....or "next time try it before you leave". Hm.....I think that offering another option (like a gift certificate for the amount I paid) would have made me want to try it again. I dont spend $5 for coffee and expect "OK"....

Fantastic coffee! Even better food! Id never even heard of this place until I started working in the area, but wow is it great -- their yogurt parfait is some of the best Ive ever had, and The Cure... I can see why thats their signature drink -- itll pick you right up, and without the jitters I usually get from a drip + espresso coffee drink! The art is vibrant and abstract, but not pretentiously so; the staff are warm and friendly; the music, hip and enjoyable. Im seriously glad I gave this place a shot.

I moved to Beaverton a couple of years ago, and when I went looking for a place nearby to meet friends I just walked in. The prices seem a bit on the Starbucks side of high; but Im one who judges a coffee shop by its drip and not the latte. The barista suggested that I try the organic drip, and it was great. Not fruity and very smooth. Its not so much a cafe as it is just a place to get a good drink, I wish it were open later so I could go there after work on weekdays.

Good coffee and people are very nice. But the shop is all concrete and they blare the music so loud you cant talk or communicate w/ folks around you, let alone read or surf the web. I forget this about every 3 months and visit with intent of staying to read / surf and then I remember why I dont go there. I enjoy music as much as everyone else but really - you dont need it so loud.

Absolutely love this place! I cant even understand the "ok coffee" or any lesser comments because this place is the shizz! I have gone to so many coffee shops in many states and this place is a cut above the rest! And!!! They serve beer and wine! I have been coming here for a while to study in their shop and drown my stress in their drinks and salads! Love, love, love these guys!

My boyfriend and I go here every day on our way to work. We get our coffee in 5-7 minutes and are on our way. I love this shop and the coffee is great. I think the customer service is good but then again I am not one to try to have a conversation with the barista. It is definitely our go to place and I would recommend it.

I like to stop here after walks in the nearby Tualatin Hills Nature Park. The coffee and lattes are good as are the pastries. They also have beer and wine, but since Im always here in the morning havent had a chance to try these choices. The staff is friendly and works to get the drinks out promptly.

Delish coffee. The staff is friendly and chatty, but not too much :) There is a good amount of space to sit down and visit, and the yogurt parfait was sizeable and a great price. I wish it were on my route to work because I would stop by much more often.

I tried THE CURE, Holy crap was that terrible. I asked if it was just like regular coffee with a lot of espresso. They said yes, was one of the worst coffee drinks I have ever had. Will be hard to go back to try anything else, what a waste of 5 dollars.

Meh, its fine. Interior is cool with a more modern feel than the coziness one can have in other coffee shops. However the drink I had was lacking. Ordered a nonfat peppermint mocha and it had no punch to it. All around lacked in flavor.

Great community coffee house with the absolute best coffee I have found in the area. The staff is friendly and courteous. I would love to see some local flare, but the great coffee and staff make it a favorite of mine overall.

Good people. Disgusting coffee. I got an americano, just espresso and water. The coffee itself is the most bitter, disgusting coffee Ive ever tasted. I dont know what theyre using for their espresso but its downright nasty.

The coffee is great. Its not harsh and they have options for beginning coffee drinkers and people who like their coffee straight. But the reason I keep coming back is the staff are extremely friendly.

Had high hopes, but I was very unimpressed. The guy working was slow and unfriendly. On top of that the coffee was no good, I ordered the "Carmel Silk" and it literally tasted like flavored milk.

The Edge Good Coffee IS cutting edge. The vibe in here is cool and I especially like their specialty coffees. You can find them written on the black board. #GoogleCityExpert #PDXCityExperts
