TRY THE HUMMUS TRIO! So yum! I love the hefty proportions and the sharability of the appetizers. Got a falafel gyro sandwich and normally for the same price, at Bombay Garden & Greek Eats, you can get a falafel gyro with fries and a drink. Money goes further at Bombay, and the falafel is tastier. But at Athens its crunchier and I like that texture. Lovely quick polite staff, and dessert is always thicc and sharable.

This used to be one of my favorite places in town. Ive been disappointed since their food items have changed. The falafel is especially disappointing now. Their original falafel was the best and brought us back time and again. The new falafel is mediocre and unsatisfying. Service is always great. We do miss a couple of specific folks who are no longer there.

Used to love this place. Came in tonight my server was nice. Younger blonde haired girl. Girl up front with the tribal tattoo and hair like the bad lady from the 101 Dalmatians was giving everyone mean looks and was obviously mad about her other employees. Kinda unprofessional. Everybody just needs to lighten up and make it fun like it used to be. Chill

We are new to the area and wanted some Greek food so we tried out Athens Greek Restaurant. I had the Super Gyro it was excellent, my wife had the Greek Salad and she liked it as well. The staff was very friendly and service was great. We highly recommend this place and will become regular customers.

This is not only the best Greek food Ive ever had, its absolutely the best food Ive ever had. We have a large family so we tried just about one of everything. Everything we got was excellent. Drove an hour and a half to eat here and we will be back many times more.

Very disappointed use to be best place for gyros. No one could eat theres. Was tough. We canceled the order to go. Ordered 7 layer raspberry cake received raspberry cheesecake. Only could enjoy onion rings. Bill $33 Not satisfied. Rant over.

A clean and friendly restaurant. The food was reasonably priced, and the service was top notch. I was satisfied with the meal, but it didnt blow me away. If you are in Mt. Vernon, totally worth stopping by for a good meal.

The gyros are excellent. Ive also had the wings they are unique I really enjoyed the first couple but by the end of the basket I decided that the flavor was too overpowering for my taste.

The Greuben sandwich is creative and delicious. Think Reuben with gyro meat rather than corned beef. I might like it more than the Reuben.
