We went for my wifes birthday recently and the staff were friendly enough but not overly attentive even though there were only 2-3 other tables occupied in the restaurant. The food was pretty good but still left a little to be desired considering it was a bit pricey. The overall atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from a Mexican themed restaurant and while the booth seating was comfortable, the table and (more specifically) chairs seemed quite the opposite and flimsy. Overall, it was not a bad experience but far from stellar this time!

Was in Heath, Ohio this weekend for a family reunion, the desk clerk at the hotel said the food was great and the margaritas were even better so I went down for dinner - Wow, the food and was great, the beer was cold, and the service was so good (not always the case when it is a lone woman at the table) that I came the next night, and what I had was even better than the night before, loved the mango margaritas. My uncle stopped by later to get a to-go order - all and all a great place and great prices

The food was OK. Ive eaten at other locations and honestly this place was just not up to par. We ordered Coke to drink and both were totally flat. Food portions were good but quality just wasnt there. We barely ever saw the server. He stopped by once other then to bring the check. If you have a choice, go to the Newark, Deo Dr location.

The food wasnt amazing. at all. and i was constantly hit on by my server. he asked me a series of questions. like where i live, my age, my name, and then ended it with "do you have a boyfriend".... he also watched me eat and came over more than he needed to. i was creeped out. and the salsa isnt very good.

Good food, clean atmosphere. Wait staff leaves a little to be desired sometimes. Slam the plates and cups down on the tables and the one waiter has zero personality. But the food makes up for it and prices are very reasonable.

We have visited 3 Puertos and havent noticed a difference in their food or service. We really like everything weve tried. This location lacks the aesthetic appeal of the others but that doesnt bother us.

The Puerto on Mt. Vernon is way better. Food up there is really good and the wrokers are nice. The food is subpar at this local and the workers just stare at you while you eat. Go to the Mt. Vernon one!

We love this place. Great service, authentic food and great prices. Only improvement- the Margareta mix sucks and could be improved. No other complaints though. We go here whenever we can!!
