What an exceptional experience! Upon arrival for our anniversary dinner we were immediately greeted by a friendly host staff who had previously taken our reservation. We were kindly escorted to our table which was a uggested by the host via phone reservation. It was perfect. View of the dining room was beautiful and full of historic charm! Our server Emily was at our table within seconds and presented us with a plentiful wine and drink menu along with a spot on detail of specials and recommendations. Glasses were never left empty, we were offered more bread twice though the portion was plenty, and checked on by her and three others numerous times while not once seeming intrusive. Our sommelier presented and poured with precision. First plate was fun and not what we expected. We definitely recommend the "Pig and waffles". Main courses included the Sea Scallop special with risotto and the Short Rib with potato cakes. Excellent all around save the amount of fat I did not specifically expect. The crust was perfect though on the beef. After dinner we were presented with a delicious brownie ala mode with a candle to celebrate our special evening. Only one negative that was a simple oversight, we took half our bottle of wine with us and the staff did not properly Secure the cork and it spilled in the car. Their saving grace was the water tight sealed bag it was placed in for transport though the wine could not be recovered. All things considered, 5STARS! Make the trip, go during busy hours and make reservations! The atmosphere is perfect! Take friends, family, even enemies, as it will surely be a night to remember and heal any wound. Thank you to the staff for a great experience.

The absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced and we didnt even eat there. Let me start by saying my 65 year old mother accidentally dropped and broke the buzzer while we were waiting. But we waited for 20 minutes and could see open tables. I asked the hostess if we could sit at one of those open tables and she said they have to seat people so every server gets an even amount of tables. Then she backtracked and said there wasnt enough servers in that area. The manager came over and I said you are making customers wait for whatever reason and I see open tables. Its a work night, I am hungry and tired, can we sit at one of those tables. He IMMEDIATELY started giving me attitude. So, my mom said "lets just go somewhere else" and we started to walk out. The manager (no joke, a grown man) yelled at my mother (and I mean yelled) "REALLY LADY, you are going to break my buzzer and then LEAVE?" No one speaks to my other like that so I turned around and said "You are unprofessional. You are rude and immature and incredibly unprofessional. You need to figure out your staffing and seating because this is unacceptable from a nice restaurant and I have never experienced such inadequacy". To that, the manager responded "I was going to talk to you but now I am not". So, I just laughed and left. Some manager. Whoever hired him should be embarrassed. If you want to be treated like a valuable customer (or a human being for that matter) and seated in a timely manner, I would go elsewhere.

We have eaten here at least 7 times and, while there is a vibrant atmosphere and the food is enjoyable ( though nothing terribly exciting), last night will be the last time we eat at the Rosewood Grill. It was Saturday night and busy - I have no issue with that at all. But, after waiting the two hours promised until seating, we were starved and very much looking forward to our meal. Our appetizer came and before we even had a chance to enjoy half of it, our salads arrived. We had ordered two different flatbreads, one was correct, one was not. My husband nearly finished his before my correct one arrived. Our server ran around like a chicken without a head! She never checked in with us and never inquired whether we needed anything. What exactly are the functions of the 3 or 4 "suits" who run around looking very important and seem to be evaluating when they can get rid of you to turn the table? And speaking of turning the table..... The table of 5 next to ours stood to gather their things to leave and, before they had even left the table, they were bussing the table! Our meal came to $150 which included a $45 bottle of wine. This was not a $150 experience or meal.

Went here for the first time last night. One of the best restaurant experiences weve ever had. It is a big place, but it has a charm to it. The service was very good and they were busy. The servers worked as a team with several people helping our server when he was busy with other tables. That doesnt happen at most other restaurants, so its obvious there is solid training and leadership here. The food was phenomenal. My wife raved over the lobster bisque. I got the sirloin (at the recommendation of our server) and it was perfectly prepared and very flavorful. The schezwan (sp) green beans were excellent and the potato dish (cant recall the name) was very good, but it was rich. Our server was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, made recommendations and was personable and efficient. A manager also checked in with us to see how things were. The only thing negative we could say was that it was rather loud due to the acoustics, but that in no way would prevent us from returning. Overall, an excellent experience and we look forward to going back again with friends.

Last Friday my wife and I enjoyed one of the best meals of our lives at this Rosewood Grill. We ordered the Valentines special, and both started with the Lobster Bisque. This bisque is easily one of the most sumptuous things we have ever tasted. The Fillet Mignon was incredibly tender and exquisitely flavored, perfectly seared and prepared to our individual liking. My wifes baked potato was very large and spot on prepared, and the asparagus was quite wonderfully matched. The pairing of a sizable warm brownie with vanilla bean ice cream was the perfect way to top off this delightful meal. Anytime that we are even close to this area of Ohio, this will certainly be a mandatory stop. Thank you for an impeccable meal perfectly prepared and delivered with attentive expertise!

Drinks were amazing, the food outstanding. The call ahead seating worked out nicely, too. The only twist was that my husband was trying to decide between two wines and the waitress appeared with a sample of each. We thought it was a nice courtesy. When we got our bill there was a $2.00 sampling charge. We paid it because he did sample it, but it would have been nice if the waitress had asked if he wanted it and informed him that there was a charge. We certainly would go again. It is a nice establishment.

Food was Great... Place.... Only bad thing was They charged my card Twice... I didnt notice till I was on a plane headed to dallas. Once I called them about it the lady basicly said she noticed the error but could not do anything to about it.... She said I would have to come back to issue a refund kinda hard since I was on a plane and wouldnt be back for months. My bill was 98 dollars. So I paid almost 200 bucks... This was unexcepetable
