So order pizza at Cheshire Market tonight cause they have gluten free. I was so excited to try it. So they tell me 40 minutes. It was 6:40pm. I get there at 7:25pm. Give my name and the guy at the counter starts yelling at me it isnt even in the oven how I shouldnt be here yet and I grit my teeth take a few deep breathes and say you dont have to be so rude like I know. Then I walk away and say under my breath this is so going on FB. The guy then starts screaming at me do you even want your pizza cause I dont have to make it and we can call it even! Now mind you there are like 25 other people standing there also waiting on there pizza. Now my anxiety is through the roof! I am dumbfounded and speechless. I move back into the crowd of standing people. The lady next to me said dont take it personal he is always like this. I dont respond and he goes Wicks do you want your pizza or not it is going to be another 25 minutes! So, I say I need to check with my family. So I go out ask my mom if she minds waiting she said we will just have to wait somewhere else. (Not telling her the abuse I am enduring) So, I go back in waiting patiently to tell him and he again yells With his Beady eyes and says so are we making you your pizzas. I said yes please make them (inside wanting to say they should be already done). So, I waited another like 40 minutes in a 300 degree place while this man was very sweet as pie to everyone else. Then, this guy asks is Melissa ready yet? He goes cant you see all the pizzas in the kitchens lined up do not see we havent even started it! That guy looks at me and rolls his eyes. Sigh! I was just so excited to try this gluten free pizza and this guy ruined it. Not sure if he owns the place or he just works there. But he is not customer friendly. I am not sure I will go back. Especially since they offered me no discount for taking over double the time they quoted me to make a pizza. But the pizza was tasty. I was hoping it was just a "what would you do?" With John Quinones.

Called to place an order to be delivered. I place my order which was about $42.00 the person asked my name and phone number and nothing else. I tried to ask if they needed a credit card because of it being delivered and was hung up on. I call back within just a minute and the same female answered the phone I asked if they needed a credit card to place the order. She stated and I quote " If that is how you are going to pay" I explained that she never asked about payment and that was why I called back... again I quote "well give me the number" as if annoyed that I called back. That was enough for me..... Told her not to bother, canceled the order and called Sharkys they are very nice!!!

Decided to try Cheshire Market because it is within minutes of the camping at Alum Creek. The prices are a little high but reasonable for being a convenience by the lake. The beer selection is pretty small, the have the basics plus a few. I also ordered some wings and pizza. If this rating was just for the wings it would be a 2 star. The wings were less than desirable. They used a good sauce for the Buffalo but that was about it. The wings were rather fatty and the meat wasnt that tasty. The pizza on the other hand was quite good! I got the spicy sauce, it has a little spice to it but not too much. Overall a very good pizza. I will definitely get the pizza again.

I love their pizza. If you order anything, make sure its with somebody at the restaurant side of the building and not the store side. The younger dude that works there seemed to give me a strange vibe, as if he thought I used to date his girlfriend kind of vibe. He then proceeded to put in my pizza order late, causing me to leave without a pizza. Its ok since I was driving by anyway and didnt really go out of my way. Other than that incident, good, greasy, tasty pizza and definitely a rural convenience store atmosphere. I live in Columbus, so a convenience store where everyone speaks English is a breath of fresh air.

One of the best "local" places around -- about as far away from cookie-cutter chain pizza as you can get. Love the pizza, but recommend the Italian sub sandwich (massive sammich as a regular, or obscenely big as the Double Italian). Wide selection of beers and a few wines as well. Servers are friendly and efficient. And -- dont let the outside fool you: yeah its attached to a bait shop/sundry store that services the campers/fishers at Alum Creek State Park, but the restaurant side rocks. Weve been making the 10-mile drive here for more than a dozen years now, and the food and people have kept us coming back.

This place I found just by luck out fishing. I had been in the store section many times and finally decided to try that little room in the back. Best choice I ever made. Now my number one sub is the Italian and Ive ordered it from every place who has it. With that said this place has the best Italian subs hands down. The pricing is spot on and the service is great. Ive tried many things here and evey single one has been delicious. I recently moved from 30mins to well over an hour away, But Ill continue that drive because the food is that good.

Ordered a pizza this evening. Waited 45 mins to pick up. Ignored once I arrived. I had to ask an older lady if my order was ready. She went in the back and came back up front. Walked past me numerous times and ignored me. I asked if it was ready and was told they do not have my order. Left without a pizza. Called back and spoke to what sounded like a younger lady on the phone, which is who I placed my order with. Explained my story and her response, "what do you want me to do?". Rude, rude, rude. Ill take my business elsewhere!

I grew up with Cheshire Market, and definitely miss it since moving out west. This was the only place that delivered to our house growing up, because at the time there was nothing else around. The spicy sauce rocks, and the pizza sub is one of the best deals around. Dont know if they still do it, but they used to have a spaghetti night, and the all you can eat spaghetti was a fantastic deal! Great food, great prices, and family owned and operated, how can you go wrong?!?

Purchased 2 bottles of wine on Feb. 5, 2013 and had to ask for a bag. The lady behind the counter responded to my request by handing me a bag! This is customer service? And this doesnt even address the issue of an overflowing rain gutter on the front porch which dripped copious amounts of water on me upon entering and again upon leaving the store! This is a great location for a store/restaurant/bait shop but customer care is definately lacking!!!!
