A coworker and I stopped into Somedays after work, enjoying a couple glasses of wine. A friend came a little later, just after the doors were locked (and patrons were still being served on the patio), so I proceeded to let my friend in. She joined us at the bar and the bartender said he could serve one glass of wine but the place would be closing soon. Shortly thereafter, the female manager scolded me for letting my friend in the door and about the glass of wine although my coworker and I had already purchased a bottle. We apologized for our mistake and the manager continued her rant about the staff having families and how that one glass of wine was a problem. We felt extremely guilty and a little put off by her actions, especially after we left the bar and there were still at least six tables with people eating and drinking on the patio. Our bartender did not seem to mind and even apologized for his managers scolding.

A neighborhood wine bar with decent food. The prices seem a bit high for what you get. I usually only go for happy hour when its more affordable. Im not a fan of their recent holiday menu idea. It was 4 courses with 2 options for each course for $40. That was your only option. Nothing off the regular menu. They had previously advertised their normal Happy hour and Ladies night specials leading up to this night. We did not find out until we got there that they were NOT honoring their advertised specials. Instead it was full priced drinks and the only option for food was the special Valentines menu. All 4 courses or nothing. We counted 8 people who made reservations sit down, hear about their limited menu, and then walk out. I want to like this place but sadly with the way its managed, Im not sure how long they will be around if they dont change.

We just had our sons wedding rehearsal dinner at Somedays and it was awesome in every aspect; the staff (Dan & Katie) and our servers (Cassie, Kevin & Lacey) were exceptional. Dan & Katie worked so hard with us to make this a special evening even going so far to print menus for us with the bride and grooms name on the menu. The food (everything from the maple glazed salmon, to the skirt steak, to the lobster mac n cheese) were outstandingly delicious. And the wine wasnt too bad either!!!! Not a bad thing to say except we live in FL and the restaurant is in Gahanna OH but we will be back as we travel through OH. Thank you to everyone at Somedays Bistro! It was a memorable dinner!

I was there for a wedding rehearsal lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Awful experience. We waited over an hour and 45 minutes to get our food and they did not serve us all at once. It was over 45 minutes before the first person and last person was served and the bride was very upset since she was near the last being served and people waited and their meals got cold. Very poor customer service and the employees were not competent in communicating when we were going to be served and did not serve our party all at once. I will not be returning and I will not recommend this restaurant to others.

Initial service was a bit slow. We liked the look of the place. Comfortable tables and chairs. Menu seemed pretty large and priced reasonable. Local beers. Plenty of wine of course. We both had caeser salads for an app. They were average. I ordered the filet and my wife had the chicken marsala. She enjoyed her dish. Mine was pretty good. Steak was slightly undercooked but had great sear flavor. The potatos were slightly under temperature. Well probably return and try other dishes. Maybe just sit at the bar next time.

I just spent $35 a person for half portion sizes on a fixed menu for Mothers Day brunch. My mother only had one egg on her eggs Benedict (traditionally surved with 2), and only HALF and English muffin. There were 4 of us and no one left satisfied. The food was ok, but I currently live near creekside my husband and I will not be returning. The place was empty and while we were sitting down three groups of people decided to leave before they ordered. I will not be recommending this place to anyone in the future.

We were there for a painting class which my wife attended, was held in a cozy meeting room. While waiting at the wine bar, I had to try one of over 1500 different wines / brands and makes. Awesome service with a quaint patio looking over the creekside fountain. The aroma from the entrees filled the air which enticed your appetite. Rather you have two minutes or two hours, this is a venue youll want to visit. Great Food! Awesome Wines! Friendly Service! Most Pleasant Experience! "Well Be back!"

We went to try this place out on Saturday. The place was nice and the food was good. We tried a lot of different wines. The food came out slow but we were having fun talking. It all went down hill when paying the bill. The sign on their door said they accepted American Express. I went to use my Amex and they said they stopped taking it a few months ago. WELL TAKE DOWN YOUR SIGN!!! I get very frustrated when business complain about how much Amex and Discover cost.

The restaurant is great, my experience however was not. Our bartender Brian ignored us the entire time we were there, never asked us if wed like to order more wine (another person took our initial order because he was somewhere when we arrived) and then said two words and he put our checks on the table. I have to say it felt a little like it was because we were a table of African American people but he may just be rude.

On a return visit here I am again impressed with this place! We have been here a few times before and always enjoy the wine and food. I had the risotto and really liked it! We had a waitress that actually seated us the last time we were there Im not sure her name she had blonde hair. She was real sweet, a little quiet but took care of us! It was a great night! I highly recommend this place!

Looks just like the Wine Guy, similar menus and similar wine flights (I suspect they just reopened with a new name). Staff was knowledgable about the food and wine. However, we ordered an Old Fashioned and it was pretty terrible. They used cheap cherries which makes the drink too sweet. For the price they charge, I was disappointed.

This is by far my favorite Gahanna restaurant. We take all our visitors here for dinner. Every meal we have had thus far has been phenomenal. The owners are great people and will take time to stop at your table and chat. Have a question about the wine or need a suggestion? Ask. They are more than willing to help or give you a taste.

Service was good . Flat iron steak was very good ... fingerling potatoes were good as well .. sautéed spinach was full of stems .. not all that palatable ... prime rib was a very thin cut for 30.00 and was just good not great ... smashed potatoes were good but the asparagus was old and over cooked. Not overly impressed.
