What a night, after a hard rain we decided to eat at the Blue Goose Inn. They were not super busy at all. After we sat the server handed is our menus and the specials list. After looking at the menu we asked the difference between the perch a la carte and the dinner, we decided on the perch a la carte. The server told us that it came with 20 pieces of perch instead of the dinner that only came with 7 pieces. We thought perfect and for $20.99 great price! Then our food came with 14 pieces of perch. I asked the server if the rest of our fish was still coming? She said oops it only comes with 14 pieces. So I was misinformed after we asked. Sorry Blue Goose, 3rd time back, and probably the last time back. If you can not train your staff properly or honor what the server promised. I do not feel comfortable going back or recommending you to my friends.

If there was a 1/4 of a star that may be too much. Stopped in for a quick lunch ....not so. The waitress had tattoos covering most of her skin. While I was waiting for my "quick" lunch she maybe went to fill one blank spot with another tattoo and very obviously smoked some skunk weed along the way. NASTY NASTY. Gone for over 15 min AND I WAS THE ONLY PATRON!!! then I ordered perch "dinner". That stuff is not even perch....waaay too big, very strong fish flavor in an unpleasant way. Ive fished the lakes for 59 years...that IS NOT lake perch nor is it ocean perch. Very shady.... only time I saw the server was when the bill and (tip) were due. I always tip 29% but that thing didnt deserve anything but maybe a toothbrush for her rotting teeth. Not recommended st sll

This bar is very cool and very friendly. Everyone that hangs out there is very nice including the staff. It would be nice if they had trivia or bar bango it seams like most local clubs offer live games and entertainment for the customers to participate in. However the blue goose does not offer any for of entertainment except for live bands on the weekends sometimes. Other than t hat this place is a very cozy hangout.

Been there a few times, once with live music and once without. Not bed without the live music but only because it is way too loud. If your into feeling your ear drums get crushed, screaming at the waitress for the drink youd like and walking out with your ears ringing for the night....then this place is for you. Take a pad of paper and pen to write down what you want to drink and order.

Waitress was wonderful. Arrived at 630..owner wanted to charge 5.00 cover 2 hours later for band. Spent lots on food and drinks. Food arrived..50% cold. Requested owners attention and she couldnt be bothered. Such a shame. Owner should be more concerned about service and quality versus a 5.00 cover charge. I would not recommend!!!

This is a great place to grab a bite to eat and listen to live music on Wednesdays. The wait staff love to chat and provide service second to none. I have had Chicken Parmesan, Club Sandwich, Cuban Sandwich, Spaghetti with meat sauce, and more. Always great! And to top it off, they have home made pie! Get your pie à la Mode!

I have been to many places but there is no place like this. The most friendliest and fun wait staff and the crowd is just as friendly and fun. Its my place to go when the world sucks. BG makes my day every time. Ohh and dont miss Taco Tuesdays very good food!.

If u love the blues this is your place. The menue is great. The blues performers are the best. The jams are the most fun. Be sure to have Glorias Chicken Soup! And tell em Chris Leigh sent ya ;)
