Visited the store yesterday, June 29, to order a plater of a dozen 4th of July cookies for my daughters birthday which is on July 4th Was advised by the pleasant young woman behind the counter that they werent able to take any more special orders for the 4th, but that they would have 4th of July cookies in the case available for purchase on Saturday which is their last day open prior to the holiday. I didnt understand the difference; if youre already making the cookies, why cant you just put aside a dozen for me? She admitted that she didnt understand the difference either and called for her supervisor to come speak with me. Ive never met the supervisor before - the owner has always been very gracious & knows how to deal with the public. Not this battle axe. She came to the counter, and instead of acknowledging me, proceeded to discuss some paperwork concerning another order with the young woman. When she finally deigned to acknowledge my presence, she insisted in an unpleasant manner that she could not take anymore orders. I explained that I understood that they were beyond their capacity for special orders but I was simply asking if they could set aside a dozen cookies that they were already preparing to put in their display case. Battle axe insisted that I would have to come back in on Saturday & take my chances to buy whats available in the supply case. I responded - no I dont have to do that because Im taking my business to Bonbonhorie in Hyde Park! Since I have supported Inspiring Kind since they first opened & regularly patronized them when they had virtually NO customers, to be treated in such an unreasonable and ignorant manner is a disappointment. Their cookies are still delicious, but Id prefer to patronize businesses with some modicum of manners and appreciation for their customers.

The service at Inspiring Kind has gradually become intolerable. In the past I ordered from them for special occasions, and the service was always great. My most recent experience was horrible. I was trying to order cookies for my friends bridal shower, and spent two weeks calling and emailing them to place the order because my work schedule did not allow me to stop in. I left 4 messages and sent 2 emails and never received a response. I finally got through 2 days before the event and was told I didnt call in enough time; that they required a 3 day notice. I explained the situation, thinking that they could make an exception due to their negligence/ lack of contact. Instead I was met with a condescending attitude and told that the owner was out of town, and she is the one who answers emails, and they would not be accepting my order. I wrote them off after that, but now my friend is planning a Bachelorette party for me and had a similar interaction. She went in to the bakery to order, given the problems I had, and was told they are booked for weeks without even having the chance to say what she was in need of. She was faced with the same negative attitude and will also not be returning. You can have a great product, but if your service is poor and your employees are rude, your business will eventually fail. Im very disappointed in the way you operate your company.

Inspiring Kind Bakery was recommended to me as I was planning a recent wedding shower. The staff was great helping me determine the right design, color and amount. The cookies were the hit of the buffet - my guests kept telling me that not only were they gorgeous, they were delicious (and I agreed!) I highly recommend and Im looking for opportunities to use at other get-togethers as well as at with clients at my business.

I ordered a "heart" cookie for my neighbor - they have an infant who will be undergoing heart surgery. I was expecting (truly) "just" a heart shaped cookie with the inscription i asked for. What I got was above and beyond, complete with a frilly box! My neighbors were touched.....I love this bakery, and will soon be picking up a LOT of cookies for my annual vacation getaway with friends!

A friend recommended Inspiring Kind Bakery to me, so I picked up a few cupcakes for a party I attended this past weekend. The cupcakes were honestly the hit of the party. People couldnt stop commenting on then. I highly recommend Inspiring Kind Bakery to anyone in the Cincinnati area. DELISH!

They did the cupcakes for my sisters wedding and my whole family has never gone back! Cake is amazing and the frosting is the best! I adore the organic banana. But honestly my hands down favorite are the cookies. They are addictive in the best way! Go check them out!
