Went there last night and will never go back. We ended up there at like midnight, none of us were intoxicated, one of us had just gotten off work or we wouldnt have been out that late. The bartender took my ID, proceeded to bend it back and forth at least 15 times and the lamination cracked so she peeled part of it off and refused to serve me because it was now damaged. Ive been in the industry for 5 years and Im aware of the lawsuits that can occur against a bartender/establishment but theres a proper way to check an ID that dont cause damage. It seems other reviewers have had issues with them being unable to accept valid IDs. If its that big of an issue get an ID scanner. Besides the fact that the staff is incompetant, the bar was overall fairly dingy, they didnt even have draft beer. But hey, what can you expect when the bartenders refuse service for no reason, they cant make money that way.

Looked like an okay bar until we started talking to the short, bald bartender. He asked for our IDs and I gave him mine. He looked at it, laughed, and tossed it but didnt say anything. When we went to order drinks he wouldnt serve me and when I asked him why he said he couldnt believe that I was from Florida (I go to school there) and was extremely rude to me for no reason. I had other forms of ID on me and he still refused to serve me. When my boyfriend asked him why he was being like that he says "its my job to be a d-ck." Ill never be back. The bartender across the street is much friendlier!

Great place and nice atmosphere.Despite being setup to be a successful and relaxing bar, there is a fat bald creepy bartender that gets really racist and tries to hit on the girls that walk in. Ive experienced him do this more than once and he makes the other female barbacks that work here uncomfortable also. Ive never had a problem until I came with some of my black friends and he completely ignored them and wouldnt serve until we made an issue of it and even then he had a huge attitude about it. Too bad he works there or else Id frequent the place and bring my friends.

I really like the service and staff here. Its a hole in the wall place but they do it with a style and elligance I have never seen before. The food here is AMAZING! I dont know how they do it so well. The only issue I have is that the customers on the back deck keep throwing thier beer bottles onto the parking lot in the back. That is just rude and unforgivable.

They have half off appetizer specials for happy hour which is nice, but overall Im not impressed. It isnt really a dive bar. Its a hipster bar with faux dove bar kitsche.

Walked in randomly, very friendly bartender. Great music choice here. Playing nice smooth jazz. Exactly what I needed today. A beer, smooth jazz and a relaxing time.
