This is the place! It has the best Chinese food in town because they put so much love in their food. The dumplings are my kids favorite. They are handmade pockets of heaven. I love the beef and scallops and homemade hot and sour. My wife ordered the Ginger Chicken three years ago and wont try anything else because its just that good. Since everything is made by one amazing cook, it take time to prepare. So order some soup, an eggroll or dumplings and enjoy a three or four course meal at the local jewel in College Hill.

My Chinese family travels a long way to eat here often. They say it tastes better than the food in China. I take all my friends here from out of town to eat here. It really is the best Chinese food youll find in the region. You cant go wrong with your order; theyre all good. Be sure to try the Yeung Chow fried rice (ask for extra egg!). The Beef with Chinese Celery (I think is the name) is very good. Also, if you love spicy food, try their Szechuan dishes; they are the best.

We tried this place for the first time tonight, wow did this food taste NASTY! had the steamed dumplings which tasted like boiled meatloaf.and the sauce was like burnt coffee. The hot and sour soup was not edible. The steamed rice had a foul smell and the only reason for 1 star was the Sesame chicken was OK. The owner lady was nice but the FOOD SUCKED!

We regularly get takeout from Chung Ching. Its our go-to whenever were in the mood for Chinese! Its a good idea to tack on a few extra minutes to the quoted time frame when they say itll be ready, but totally worth it. In all the times weve ordered, Ive only received one incorrect dish, but it still tasted delicious so I ate it anyway!

I grew up in his neighborhood and have always loved their food. It hasnt changed in 35 years. Its a little bit of a wait but the flavor is unreal..really Ive had Chinese food in New York and Chicago that didnt come close. Absolutely worth it. I order Sesame Chicken with added vegetables and spicy.

No kidding, this place is awesome. I agree entirely with the other review and I would call it one of the very best chinese restaurants in the city without hesitation. Food is always perfect and way, way above average. Other Chinese restaurants in the area pale in comparison, you will be hooked.

Love this place. Its like home cooking Chinese style. Joyce is amazing she knows all of her customers and what they like to eat. She takes really good care of everyone! The food is delicious, unique recipes not found elsewhere. Price is right. Darling Mom and Pop place.

Very very good food!!!! I cant believe the food I just had, it was like the best chines food I have ever tasted, NO JOKE!!!! Very nice people also very friendly and pretty good prices too only 30 bucks for all 5 of us!!! (And by no means was the portions small)

As a Sichuanese, I have to say the taste is not yet at authentic level, but hey! Given it is in US, lack of Sichuan ingredients, plus the super friendly service from owner - Joyce, I give it 5! And really reasonable cost.

Great! I like the tofu dishes one of the shrimp dishes was a little too Mae Ploy and the other had exoskeleton with flavor that was hard to know whether to eat or not. Flavorful.

College Hill has a China Town (Cung Ching) Such a great place and authentic. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food and the hostess and chatting with other guests.

I guess it was okay. It seems to have dedicated customers. But having been to Yum Yums downtown on Race Street, the quality of the food here doesnt even come close!
