If I could give it negative stars I would in an instant. This is my first review of a business online in my life. I only do it because this was my worst experience. Ordered 5 different tacos (4 different kinds, 2 of the one) along with a quesadilla and guacamole and chips. Guacamole was a joke. Two of the tacos were incorrect and everything was lacking what it states comes with it on the menu. I had no idea that there were tortillas so tiny on earth, SERIOUSLY. I am used to getting tacos at least once a week from numerous places and these were easily the worst Ive ever had and the tiniest. They had less than 2 tablespoons of meat, tops. The cilantro was just largely the stems. The menu says it comes with onions, cilantro, lime, and cucumbers. They had no lime or cucumbers and see above regarding cilantro. The owner said they no longer do the cucumber in spite of the menu and that they instead use radish. NONE of that either! The best he offered to "resolve" this was a replacement for the one taco. That would not have been worth my return trip plus I just dont want to see the place again. I wish I had taken a photo. Truly sad. I will NEVER go there again. I feel robbed and that is saying a lot since somebody else payed. They would be closed in a week conducting business like this most places. Shameful!!!! Negative 5 stars and that is being NICE. I havent eaten there for years but from what I recall a certain fast food taco place (dont know if I can use their name in review, nudge, nudge, so Im playing it safe) is better value and better food. I would rather spend money there but there are plenty of options. I would recommend just never exploring this as one of them.

OK,WHERE DO I BEGIN?TODAY WE ORDERED A PICK UP OF 2 NUMBER ONE (1) COMBOS (2 TACOS AND RICE IN EACH ONE),PICO WITH NO SERRANOS (IM ALLERGIC),AND ASKED FOR THE FREE CHIPS AND SALSA .SHE SAID THEY DONT GIVE FREE CHIPS AND SALSA ,SO WE SAID SKIP THEM.THE TOTAL PRICE FROM THEIR MENU ORDERING SERVICE WAS $13.75,WE PAID $15 ! SO WE GOT THE CHIPS AND SALSA ANYWAY AND WAS CHARGED.THE PICO HAD PEPPERS,AND WAS VERY TINY FOR $1.25 AND FOR THE BIG LAST STRAW FROM COMING HERE WAS THEY FORGOT THE 4 TACOS (2 FOR EACH COMBO)! WE LIVE NEAR CLEVES AND CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER 4 OR 5 BUCKS IN GAS TO GET 4 TACOS!ALSO THE RICE WAS CHEWY AND HARD LIKE IT WAS UNDERCOOKED AND OVERCOOKED AT THE SAME TIME. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN SERVICE AND QUALITY OF FOOD FROM THERE NOW. :(

The food was good-excellent salsa. 45 minutes before order was taken. Hour and a half before food came. One server for bar and restaurant. Saw several orders go to the bar before our order was taken. Tacos very quick to make-how many people cooking???margueritas excellent-strong. We had two children with us. Ridiculously long wait. We would love to support local businesses but will not eat here again. By the way, in the two hours we were there, only four tables were seated. One had one person. Cant imagine how you make money-bar food? Too bad.

Im from San Antonio, Texas. Why do I say that? Because I know Mexican food. Plain and simple: Avocado serves the best Mexican food in town. The tortillas are made fresh, the ingredients are authentic and the service is friendly. The bar area is very cool and authentic as well. Margaritas are incredible, beating Bakersfield and Abuelos. And thats saying alot. I live in Mt Adams and while Mt Adams has restaurants all their own when I want real Mexican food in Cincinnati, Avocado is my #1 choice.

Chips and salsa were great kitchen speed was horrendously slow I ordered a chicken burrito and it came out as a very tough steak burrito they offered to remake it the tortilla shell was gooey and runny and the chicken had the gristle and fat still on it, the big shock was when the bill came and margaritas were $10.50 I wish I could give it less than a one-star rating . The young woman that waited on us was very good and pleasant

Food is amazing. Low score is because we used to order at least one a week using Skip the Dishes and our last order was missing two items and they refused to refund the couple dollars of the items that were left out. It was $3 on a $30 order. Never had an issue before, but if you steal my money and refuse to make it right, I will NOT be back. Do not support a company that doesnt do the right thing by their loyal customers!

Best mexican restaurant on the west side. Its not a fast food restaurant, its a restaurant that takes time in making your food fresh everytime.. Its a great place to drink and relax. Great music on the sound system, you might want to dance or sing. Its family friendly, and the staff will make you feel like family.

Awesome place! Great food, great prices on buckets a beer, and chips and salsa to die for! Oldies music over the sound system - odd for a Mexican restaurant, but works for me. Ive heard the margaritas are great tool! If you are ever on the west side, stop in!

Cool place, Mexican restaurant on one side, Art Deco Bar on the other, with a nice quaint patio out back, serving authentic Mexican fare with the best margaritas around. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Often has live music in the bar.

Best tacos ever. Im a chef by trade and sometimes restaurants try too hard to create an elaborate experience. Here at avocados, your welcomed by happy people serving authentic flavorful food. Its the perfect place for a patio date night.

Extremely unsatisfying! Waited over an for our food, and it had obviously been sitting for quite some time. When I approached the owner with my complaint, she acted as if she couldve cared less. I will never eat there again!

The food and margaritas are great and at a great price. Toby was our waiter, and he was one of the nicest and most interesting people Ive met in a long time. Ill definitely be back!

Its a cool sorta quiet blue collar little bar with restaurant next door. Bartenders are great. Food is great. Open mic night on Tuesdays. They could use a pool table or something.

Good authentic tacos and Tortas. Great bar, friendly staff. The old lady says the margaritas are tasty and strong, and they have a cooler with a good beer selection.

Good food & better-than-average for Cheviot beer selection. Service is friendly but not swift. The food is great. Chorizo anything & tortas especially recommended!

The food is good but second time here and our service has been abysmal both times. Been waiting on food for about 40 min. Same server both times.
