Food is okay, but service needs drastic overhaul. Ever since I first found Nashers last year Ive had extremely inconsistent service each time Ive gone. The first couple of times there was the NICEST and most courteous person behind the counter. She went over the menu and gave personal recommendations and came out to chat after you got your food to make sure everything was great. For some reason she hasnt been there any of the umpteen times Ive been back. The people that now take your order arent as friendly, familiar with the menu or accurate when inputting the order. Almost everytime I have gone theres been something wrong with the order or one persons sandwich or fries or both come out minutes apart from each other. It also usually takes an insanely long time for your order to be made. I get this isnt a jersey Mikes or subway, but its still a sandwich shop. Numerous times the drink fountain has been out of one or more syrups and sometimes there is no sweet tea either. The longest Ive had to wait for my order was almost an hour a few months back when my in-laws were in town and we all went out to eat. Id also like to see some additional vegetarian options available. They have all the fixings for an eggplant parmesan sandwich but its not on the menu. I manually had one made the last time I went and it was okay, but the eggplant seemed to have been precooked then refried when I placed my order because it was a little tough to chew. If this place could just overhaul the wait-staff and cut down the time it takes from order to delivery it would be a much better experience. Also I have often wondered if this would be better if you sat down to order instead of standing at the register. Theres usually a backlog of people waiting to order or waiting to receive their order and sometimes theres no room for people who need to come or go. I hope this place can work out its wrinkles and improve on what could be a 5 star place.

This place is hit or miss. Ive had good experiences in the past but this place seems to be going down hill. The food is average at best. Chicken is dry and chewy. I have never gotten a side that was actually hot. The sides are always cold and come out after the main food. Sometimes after you finish your main food. The place is dirty too. The floor was sticky. I witnessed an employee eating while taking a customers order then proceeded to serve food without washing their hands. The tea tasted old and stale. Not impressed. I dont see this place sticking around unless they get their act together. There seems to be nobody in charge and employees seem to be poorly trained on resturant etiquette and basic heigene. You dont get a warm greeting, or greeting at all and everyone seems to have a bad attitude when you ask questions. Hate to see this place going downhill.

Very good new restaurant in North Raleigh. Their use of gluten free breads is commendable. Some of their sandwiches (e.g. the grilled cheese with pears) have unique combinations that often dont work. The cheeses used create an unbalance of the flavors that ruins the sandwiches. Why 4 stars if Im so grumpy about the sandwiches? Simple, gluten free, AND the SOUP is home made and fantastic. You can order the chicken noodle soup without noodles (and croutons). They make it separately for those looking for gluten free. Great friendly staff, and a place that is no longer a hidden gem (from the lines). This place is destined to become a chain. Get there and enjoy it! Its a great sandwich and soup shop. You wont be disappointed (except if youre not careful with your sandwich choice).

Upon my first visit to Nashers I noticed that the hospitality was extremely lacking. There was no greeting or smile from the cashier/hostess and just an air of annoyence coming from her. But we continued to order and we found the food to be amazing! However I will never return for one reason, and that is because I saw one of the kitchen staff (an older female) PICK HER NOSE AND THEN WALK INTO THE KITCHEN TO COOK. She looked directly at me and continued to pick her nose and cook our food. It was absolutley disgusting! I even mentioned it to the cashier and she ignored me! Never will I eat here again, and I urge all of you to avoid them too!

we had good visits. The female employees were only nice to male customers. The female employees tried to stick the sharp fingernails into the skin of our hand-female customers, gave us food that was wrong and not volunteer to do anything about it, in the middle of us giving order. not do anything about it. The male employees asked us to clean up the restaurant. We would wait a long time for a meal that was wrong. And the manger said nothing is wrong .We are she said. The female employees would give us our order. And run away quickly. And we had to ask them to come back. we were overcharged for our meals.

I took my 94 year old grandmother to Nashers for lunch today and we had a wonderful visit. She is hard of hearing and doesnt see well either. She couldnt remember which sandwich she liked and then only ate 1/4 of her sandwich. The staff were so patient with taking her order and then helping her get the rest of her sandwich packed up to go home. They even wrapped her sandwich up in foil for her. I was so thankful for the time and care they showed. I have visited many times before and have enjoyed the food and service, but today I was really impressed. Thanks to the staff today! You made her day!

Next time youre in the mood for Panera, jersey mikes, or just having a great sandwich...go to Nashers instead. Its basically a 10 times better version of Panera. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and more are all delicious! Everything is fresh, from the meat to the veggies to the sauces. Not to mention its locally owned and its clear how much thought and work was put into this place. Why wouldnt you support that?! It is a great little place for lunch during your workdays or dinner on your weekends. Great people, great quality, and very successful after just 6 months of operation. Highly recommend!

Nashers is, by far and away, one of the best sandwich shops in Raleigh. In a day and age of sub shops that try to get you in and out, Nashers is a sandwich "house" that takes the time to make a very tasty sandwich. If you order a side of fries understand that it is enough to feed two or three people. There is no reason to order several orders of fries. Also note that the sandwiches are rather large. If you have a small stomach like myself you may want to order a sandwich and a side to split with someone else. If you are in North Raleigh and are looking for a great sandwich, go to Nashers.

Nashers has great food! No question, BUT the folks who take your order are sketchy. They dont seem like food service people. Ive never seen them wash their hands after taking money then delivering food to tables and Ive been there several times. Things seem very clean in the kitchen but outside of that not so much. The other employees do a lot of standing around and I never see them cleaning tables either- customers are doing it. Also bathrooms not clean. I hope this place makes it but they need people at the front that have their act together and are CLEAN!
