My family will never go back to this store. I have ordered two cakes from this store in 2017. One in February for my husbands 50th birthday. When I went to pick it up, it was never made. I had a 45 minute drive to pick up that cake and it was not there. The young man working said that I could wait while he made it. I had two sons at home with the flu at the time. So, I was not going to sit there that long. Today is my sons 16th birthday. I ordered a custom cake from the same store online thinking that the same crazy thing certainly couldnt happen a second time. I had a pick-up time of 11:30 this morning. At least this time, I received a phone call literally as I was walking out the door to pick it up that it had not been made by the night shift again. Today, I waited for it to be made and delayed the pick up with the intention of speaking with the manager when I got there. The ONLY employee working was the same young man working that day in February who remembered me and what happened that day. He was not allowed to give me contact information for his boss (email or phone number). I said would you like to call her and ask her if she would rather give me her email address or that I go online and leave a review? He started dialing her number, thought twice and said that he was not allowed to give out her contact information. I said: Surely, I am not the only person that this happens to? He just shook his head and said no.

My family visits this location at least 3 times a month. Well today is definitely our last time going. We purchased 2 containers of ice cream. One was Chocolate Devotion & the other was Butter Pecan (the ours size). My husband and I both had a small bowl. I went to get a little more and felt something hard as I dug I noticed that there was a hair pin in my ice cream! Over the phone the manager refused to give me my money back. He offered me more ice cream, which is the same ice cream the hair pin came from or a gift card. I didnt want either! We went to the store to speak with him. Zach was extremely rude. He made smart comments under his breath. We told him that a refund is better than a lawsuit, he said good luck with the 100 of thousands youll spend on a lawyer. We said we had to say & left. At that point we knew wed never go back! *update* Scott from the corporate office called me the next day to try to resolve the issue. He was extremely nice, he also agreed that Zach handled the situation wrong. He sent a $25 gift card to me & said that he would get the owner to call me. She has yet to call, so I assume that she agreed with the rude store manager. Sadly, I was more upset about the terrible customer service than the money. If money was an issue we definitely wouldnt go to Cold Stone as much as we used to because everyone knows they arent cheap!

I actually do like this Cold Stone. I called yesterday to get a cake ordered at the last minute for a birthday and they were able to grab one of the pre-made cakes and write Happy Birthday on it in no time. Now this may not seem like a lot, but I was really impressed considering I called another location and they stated that they couldnt write Happy Birthday because "the cake decorator had left for the day." Any person with the right materials could do that, I just did not want to buy the materials and do it myself. The reason I only gave this place a three star review instead of a four star is because I ordered a frappe and the employee was not exactly sure how to make it. I knew it needed to be blended more ( I didnt say anything) and when I got it in the car I noticed that it was still filled with giant ice cubes. A small gripe for sure but I do love this location and I love that it sits on a man made pond. Great date site.

So yesterday on Monday, July 10, 2017 around 8 pm my boyfriend and I went on a date to get some ice cream. Let me begin by telling you that as soon as we walked in the door we were immediately judge by the 3 employees working last night. Then we began to order our ice cream and waited a solid 3 minutes while watching the girl who worked there try to get another man to serve us, well neither of them wanted to serve us.. you may wonder why? Well they were being extremely racists towards our race. The young girl working ended up serving us. Not only was she mean but she gave us the worst service as well. I asked for a milkshake and she gave me a bowl of ice cream. I was fine with that but I am disappointed in how extremely racists and disrespectful the employees were. I will never buy ice cream from here again. I give them a one star!!! Dont buy ice cream here. Racism goes both ways! No one wants to be treated that way.

I ordered two cakes over the phone for my daughters 5th birthday. Told her what I wanted and what it needed to say. "Happy Birthday" on one and to put the number 5 on the other. So i go to get the cakes which was ok but i got to the house and opened it i thought it was ok besides one cake had "#5" on it...really?!?! Then we did the whole happy birthday song and cut into it. COMPLETLY WRONG!! They were switched with the wrong icing and mix ins and cakes. It was good but it really is not that hard to read directions. I think ill stick to one cake from now on since 2 was too much for them to handle.

Really if there was a no star i will give it to this place , every time i go there I regretted, employees are so rude, just now i walk in with no body there but me and an employee at the register didnt even say hi , other employees talking in the back, i stand there for about 5 minutes , still not even hi , than finally some one comes from the back with not even hi .. all she says is (( what can i get for you )) thats just today !! If i keep going with last visits i will amaze you .. seriously!! Never again !!

The ice cream is never the problem...its the new staff in training. I ordered 2 of the same size cups and when making them I noticed that one was half the size of the other. I mentioned this and one of the staff members agreed. They told the new guy to add more ice cream and he said he would do so...yet he never did. when it came time to pay, I had one full cup and one half yet the charge was the same...if Im going to pay $5 for a cup of ice cream I think Ill stick to sweet frog.
