All I really wanted today was a decent burger and a good pint of local draft. You would think a place with "Burgers and Bar" as their namesake would get that right. To start off, they informed me they had a draft special. I tried... really tried to order a beer but they were out of the three different beers I ordered. Their beer list is hand-written on a little chalkboard they handed to me when I sat down. How hard is it to mark it off the board? So I threw in the towel on the brew and figured I could at least get a burger. I order a custom burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pepperjack and runny fried egg. Very specific on the egg. After 25 minutes, the burger comes out with cheese, lettuce and tomato-no onion, no egg. I inform the server of the error and I can tell he forgot to put it into the computer when he ordered it (Ive been in the industry for 25 years, so I know the signs). When I remind him, he replies," Oh, yeah, you want it runny, right?" Yeah, I want it runny. Well it comes back out after 5 minutes and ,when I cut into the yolk expecting the golden creaminess of the yolk to cascade over my burger I find the egg to be cooked somewhere between over-medium and over-well. I push the whole plate aside and when the server comes to check on me after another 8 minutes, I just informed him the egg is overcooked and to please take the whole thing off my bill. I personally think if you pay $11-12 for a burger it should come out right the first time. I wasnt going to give them a third time, especially after three strikes on the draft. After all this, what I found the most disappointing, is the fact that the manager did not once touch my table or apologize for the absolute fail. He, in essence, let me walk out of the restaurant without even a glance.

We USED to be a regular! My husband and I would call this our go to spot before today (Sunday). The chef was great but our waitress was horrible! From the time we got there and ordered our watered down sweet tea we had the SAME exact cup, melted ice and all. Not once did she let us know our food was coming out, if we needed anything or even bring us more that ONE napkin. On many occasions she walked passed our table and wouldnt make eye contact with either of us! I say all of this to say she made it very clear she didnt want to wait on minorities! Why not let management know? Its no point, we wont be back to experience the change!

Been here plenty of times. The music is good(it used to be awful) and the beer on tap is top-notch. It is filled with craft beers from all over the country and they always run specials on something. They have about 9 or 10 lunch specials that are $6.95 including drinks every weekday. Definitely a solid lunch option for the same price as going to fast food. I was there a couple weekends ago and they had a DJ on a Friday night. Hopefully, they continue to do this because there was an awesome energy in the space from about 10-2. I SAY GIVE IT A GO!

The worst hamburgers in Charlotte! A dried shriveled piece of meat they call a hamburger. I mentioned to the waiter that the last time we came for dinner my hamburger was over cooked. He said they cook their burgers medium-well and would I like it medium which I replied yes...thank you. It came out a dry shriveled piece of what used to be beef I assume. I ate two bites and left the rest. I expressed my disappointment but they had no intention of taking it off my bill. I would never go back or recommend this restaurant.

Almost a 2 because of the hostess who sat us. Horrible attitude, didnt ask us about drinks or say anything about our waitress coming. Thankfully our waitress was a lot better. Very polite and even though we were sitting outside on a slow day she came out an acceptable amount of times to check on us. We came for the wings and they didnt disappoint us. The parmasean garlic wings were really good. The spicy tiger wings were even better. We will definitely be back. P.s. the wife says the fries are fin bangin.

Ive been to Kickstand many times for lunch and they would easily have been 4 or 4.5 stars a few weeks ago. Then they changed the menu and pricing. Its no longer a good lunch value and I have a hard time paying $3 to $4 more for the same meal. The food is still really good and the waitstaff friendly and fast. Great TV setup for March Madness and other sporting events, too. Bring back the full lunch special menu!!!

I just saw that someone said the fires are terrible and I dont know what planet they are from. I love fries and these are great!! Wonderful burgers, lots of beer choices, and yummy sides. Only reason Im not giving this place 5 stars is that I have not had the most attentive service the past few times I have gone. Just remember your waitor or waitress so you can flag them down when you need something.

Had my first visit for lunch on Friday. Pretty smooth experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the barbalo wings with an order of tater tots. The wings were decent, but certainly not the best in Charlotte. The tots were very soggy, and I did not like them. Ill probably give it another try, and actually order a burger.

Food not worth the "parking experience." Gravel parking lot in back is awful. Motorcyclist, sports cars, and European cars with low clearance exercise caution, to include walking to/from, i.e., twisted ankle. Rife with pot holes, jagged concrete, steep drop-offs. If its raining, forget it. You and or your vehicle will get muddy.

Ive been going to kickstand for awhile and ive always had good service except for today. I had Sev as my server today and he was rude and unprofessional the whole time. Im not sure why he is in the hospitality industry because he doesnt have the necessary skills to do the job. My experience was so bad I wont be coming back.

Great burgers and beer list but...the fries are terrible. If Kickstands gonna survive they need more than just great (and I mean great) burgers. Theyll need great French fries. Currently, theyre a bit cafeteria. But a basket of fresh cut potatoes would make all the difference. Huge potential.

First time going last night the food was absolutely perfect! Me and my guy enjoyed the sweet BBQ wings cooked to perfection! Service was excellent, I wish I could have left a bigger tip! The manager constantly made sure we were good and the food was so fast and delicious!! Definitely returning again!

Disappointed in the size of the burgers. Flavor was decent but when I was done with my burger I was still so hungry, even after eating the fries. I could have eaten a minimum of 3 and I am not a very big guy. It might just be me but if you pay $12 for a burger it should fill you up right?

The kickstand burger has every flavor you wouldnt think could go on a burger but somehow they made it happen. Staff is friendly and have great customer service. The drink menu has seasonal options and make it hard to choose just one. Overall great experience.
