I love this place. I really do. But the problem is that I get GREAT bottle of wine from the chiller and then I go back a couple of days later for more, and they are out of stock. Then they are out of stock of that wine for the rest of the month. I have stopped going there because I cant count on finding what I want. I wish they could be more consistent. The other thing I find annoying is that three times (since I cant find what I want) I will ask they guy "whats a good chardonnay?" He says to me each time "They are ALL good." I know you are proud of your inventory but thats not helpful and makes customers feel a little lost. and PS: they are not ALL good. But the greatest thing on the menu is the green olives. To die for!

I have been to The Wine Shop many times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and wine selection. Because of great experiences in the past, I was very disappointed by my most recent trip. My husband and I were looking forward to a late afternoon snack and drink. I selected a bottle of wine that was $21 only to find that The Wine Shop has a $10 corking fee.....for their own bottles!! Apparently, all bottles under $30 (bought in-store) come with a $10 corking fee. This "nickel-and-diming" policy is just tacky. Needless to say, we went elsewhere. Wine Shop, I really hope you will rethink this policy.

Great source for wines from all over the world, not just CA. Beer, too. They are very helpful in helping you pair wine with your food. And, they help you with the type of wines you like and not just what they prefer personally. Very knowledgeable about food and wines. Mon-Sat they serve food in the evening, so I like to have dinner there sometimes.

Great wine selection and friendly staff. We stopped in for a drink and definitely plan on going back for dinner; All of the food coming from the kitchen looked delicious. As a retail shop, they have a great selection of wine at all price points, but Im sure well only go to visit the bar.

We live in Richmond, VA, and have been twice now. Foxcroft has a great selection of wines. The food is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Get there early on a Saturday if you want a table for the evening. The place is hopping!

The food is absolutely amazing! If you are in the south park area this is a must try. This place has a really nice laid back atmosphere and good selection of wines. Did I mention the food is amazing cause it is and worth mentioning twice!

Nice atmosphere, friendly bar staff and good food. A little pricey for the portions, but the taste was great! The wine selection is outstanding and well categorized. Again, its pricey though so plan to spend more than other places.
