The ice cream was good but the brownie in the sundae was frozen. If you plan on getting ice cream to go this place is great but there was no seating. Definitely not a social spot. And last but not least the staff just need to be a little more friendly. Its an ice cream place, no need to act like your miserable being there. If you are maybe you shouldnt have been on the front line. Overall the ice cream was good but not amazing. For the price you probably would have a better overall experience at a coldstones or another popular chain. We drove from west Cary to try out fresh local but I probably wont be going back.

We have been going to the Glenwood location for years and were very excited to have one closer to home. The ice cream is awesome but this location seems to constantly run out of many flavors. We never ran into this problem at the other location. Parking can also be a nightmare. I would certainly recommend but I do hope they figure their supply issues out. Edit: We have returned several times and the issues above continue. Weve also not had the best of service. The young people working there seem to always be aloof and indifferent. Whatever worked at the Glenwood location didnt translate to this one. Sad.

Disappointing ice cream. Over-sweetened and under-flavored. I really wanted to like this place, but they are not as good as when I first tried them in Raleigh a number of years ago. At that time I commented that the sweetness level was "just right". I think they could save a few bucks on sugar and invest that saving in improving the flavors. I still believe than Ben & Jerrys is the best in the area, which is sad seeing as they are a chain :(

Love these guys - they are the best! I just moved from San Diego last year and this is the best ice cream Ive found. SO glad they opened up in downtown Cary - its right next to my sons school so we can go get ice cream whenever we want! I also love that they buy their ingredients locally and really care about their quality, and that its a family-operated business - cant ask for more than that!

This is an expensive ice cream cone, but its a good one. The ice cream is very soft, so you need to be serious about eating it. I think that the quality of their product is affirmed by the long line and big crowd around the store every evening. This is a wonderful part of the downtown Cary renaissance.

I would have given more stars, since the ice cream is amazing, but the staff has no ADA law education / service dog etiquette. When I tried to educate the staff, an employee responded with "I dont care, get the dog out" even after I told him that was ILLEGAL. Please educate staff properly.

Nice place, but they need to do something about flies. Its like free fly zone for the insects. By the way, ice cream buckets are fully protected, however not the ice cream cups. Service is great! This is the reason for giving four stars.

The ice cream is excellent!!! You cant find flavor like this anywhere else in Cary. However, finding a parking spot is challenging, the lines can be long (worth it in my opinion) and seating is almost nonexistent.
