Wonderful storefront family owned Italian - fresh fish, many Sicilian touches, not prosaic red-sauce parlor. The owner is in the kitchen and his wife fronts the house. We lived in Brooklyn for over 20 years and consider the Queen Restaurant on Court St. to be a gold standard for home made Italian food. This comes close, doesnt require a trip to Brooklyn and is a good value. The staff is professional, a nice change from the waiters and waitresses who dont really want to do it for a living. All in all, one of the better bets in Rockland County.

Fresh and delicious, this restaurant is not what you would expect in a strip mall. Forget that, go there to feast. The service could not be friendlier or accomadating and if it isnt on the menu and Sal has it, he will make it for you. This is home made Italian at its best. We love it and go at least once a month.
