More like 3 1/3 stars. The greeter was really friendly, but was wearing a badge around her neck. There was also at least one other person walking around in a security t-shirt. We were there for a late (8:00) dinner on a Friday night, so that wasnt real comforting. Im assuming that because there was a band they were there to keep things orderly. The server was friendly, and we both ordered the "Garbage Balls" which is a Garbage Plate packed about the size of a small cantaloupe, then deep fried. It was ok, not as good as an actual "plate" in my opinion, but we saw a bunch of them being delivered to tables. The band is located in the dining area, and they were too loud for a dinner conversation. The band was very good, the food was ok, and the service was very good. Ill give them another shot and maybe order something Im familiar with.

Our server Tanya was absolutely horrible. I literally watched her walk around the entire dining room coughing into her open hand, spreading her germs to everyone customer who she serviced. When I said something to the manager he pulled her slightly to the side and started swearing at her in front of the customers!! Their "fresh home-made" pasta is store bought crap and not fesh at all. The young baretender isa the worst excuse Ive ever seen for a mixologist. He actually didnt even know how to make a mudslide. Our food took forever to come out, and management did nothing about it and when it finally did come out, I was too exhausted to complain about how horrible it was! NEVER AGAIN.

Great atmosphere (the decor is excellent), great appetizers (get the fried pickles), usually good service. I would recommend this place for getting some beers and watching the game. Perfect for that. However, every time I eat here Im disappointed with the entrees. First time: had a burger: was just ok. Most recently I had the poutine plate: the burger patty was too thick for a plate (just make 2 thin ones) and the "poutine" seemed to lack any cheese curds. Also the patty was maybe a bit undercooked and smelled a little off. I want to like this place; it could be great, step up your food game! Ill probably be back at some point.

I love this place!!!! The food is oh so good and the service I found NO problems with, I especially love the fact that management is totally involved with their customers and watch the staff very closely to make sure the customer is satisfied. And we were!! Very comfortable atmosphere and love the fact that they have live music from Thurs to Sat. And theres always something good happening be it for charity or to support the town of Gates or just a great Holiday Party!!! Going to make this my regular stop. I recommend this place for rest and relaxation or a nice family dinner.Or even a Holiday or Family get together.

Horrible bartender if you going to put a 18 year old behind the bar with no experience he should just be a bar back cant even make a simple drink and def cannot poor a proper glass of wine. I had the chicken french it over over cooked and the sauce had a burnt taste to , the other dinner was spaghetti with a meat ball again sauce had a burnt taste and the meatball was so loaded with oregano thats all you could taste.Guess the only good thing i can say is they will probably close down in the near future and a another restaurant will take it place

Here we are, a few years after our first Blu experience (which wasnt good), and Im now a Blu convert. It seems like the establishment has found its niche...not too fancy, not a typical area dive bar...just right. The service was attentive and professional, our food was served promptly and exactly as ordered...and it was really good. In fact, my husbands burger was one of the best Ive had ever. Thats whats going to bring me back soon...cant get that awesome, meaty, juicy burger out of my mind! Give Blu a try...hope you like it, too.

Made reservations for the fight for four people was not told you had to be 21 even though Im of age , the owner tried to charge the three minors who by the way were 20 an extra 25$ because since they cant buy alcohol he wont profit off of them even though they do sell food too then he continues to say we cant leave the establishment and hes going to be watching us the whole time. Horrible service horrible owner

Seems like they could make a great burger but the "Angry Spartan" (sounds great right) was MEH at best. Very bland. Not at all spicy. "VOLCANO BACON" not so much. Half cook and thin sliced. It took almost an hour to get a 3 inch burger on a 5 inch bun. Annoys me to no end. Also came with 10 maybe 15 fries. They did manage to cook it to the right temp though so 3 stars. Keep trying.

Unreal. It should scream to you that when the owner becomes abusive and argumentative in the reviews section they have no business in the industry, aside from joining that Kitchen Nightmares show. The 3.8 rating, combined with the toddler-like behavior of the management should be enough to steer anyone away. If thats not enough, the mixed drinks are bad, as is the food.

There website has been "coming soon" for about a year. The last website when it was Blue was terrible. so hard to order food if you can even see a menu. they have a menu pic on Facebook but is blurry. Its 2017 you would think a website and menu would be important to them. Kind of pathetic if you ask me. A website can be built in a few days for a simple restaurant.

Truffle shuffle burger was phenomenal! Perfectly cooked and the brioche bun is a great touch. The onion rings were crispy and each drink our group tried (a couple of mules, spiked lemonades, and wine) were great. The service was friendly and very attentive with the hostess and Im assuming the manager stopping by frequently to see if we needed anything.

Definitely a much better experience this go round. Our server Shelby, was pleasent, professional , quick with our orders and refills. The food here at rockin burger never has been a issue. Burgers where exquisite and tasty! The Manager on duty, tammy was sure to make our experience very pleasant! Thanks guys we will definitely come again!

Fun place to dine. Live entertainment. Indoor and outdoor seating. Big bar. Game area. Unique foods as well as normal burger foods. Really friendly waitress. She was very fun. Definitely recommend you stop in. Ive been twice recently. Once with my husband and once with a group of girl friends. Great evening both times.

First the layout of the location was awesome, was my boyfriend and my first time there. Security guy was very friendly, bar service was great and food was hot and tasty. There was a band playing inside wasnt to load could talk and enjoy the music. Ill be coming back because the atmosphere was fanaminal. Great team work.

I had the Breakfast at Tiffanys burger. Personally, Im a huge fan of egg on my burgers, and this one was a monster. Easily the biggest cheeseburger Ive ever eaten. Bartender was friendly and attentive, food was good, fries were perfectly salted. Basically, this place killed it from start to finish. Very happy
