i have been to main street pizza several times but had moved away and just came back to town. Last night i had the opportunity to stop in agan after a few years, and immediately remembered why i love this place so much. The husband and wife give you the feel that you are walking in to grandmas kitchen with a look of recognition and a warm greeting. This is the first and only pizzeria i can find that makes the rolls to order...whether you want pepperoni or sausage and pepers its made to order not sitting in a case on the counter for god knows how long. This last trip i ordered a few slices and a soda, wich for 5 dollars was an amazing deal. Then i tasted it and between the crust wich my guess is, the dough was made by the owners not ordered, the came in a bag variety.... was absolutely delicious, totally different feel than other places you may visit. the flavor and the spices came thru and if i were to hazard a guess, i would say higher quality fresh grated cheese again not processed in a bag. no matter the reality of it they are heads and tails above any ive had in the area. if you are a foodie or a pizza lover try this place. you will not be disappointed.

Unbelievable pizza! Came here to buy pizza to go at 1 hour to closing last Saturday. There were three slices of plain pizza left, one regular, one large and the other one sicilian. We could order a whole pie to go but we didnt want to wait. We got all three slices. We were home 5 minutes later. The crust was crunchy, chewy and full of taste. The sauce was the best I have ever had. Coming from Brooklyn, I think I know my pizza. The only other one my wife and I like was Circle Pizza on Coney Island Ave in Brooklyn. It was closed about 7 years ago. BTW, this place is related to Umbertos next to Red Lobsters on Rt. 9 south.

First time here pizza is really really good and nice lunch special 2 slices of plan cheese pizza and can of soda $5.00 great deal and filled me. Very comfy environment and staff at counter very very friendly makes you definitely feel welcomed

First time was OK. Second time, they decided theyd wait until I got there to cook my nearly inedible greasy pizza. This, after I waited extra long to get it to be sure it was ready when I got there. Make your own call, you might luck out.
