UPDATE: There is still an issue with cleanliness, but the store is vastly improved. I love it now! The prices on organic veggies & fruit are so reasonable, and I am able to purchase all the alternative groceries I need. My health is improving, and I am losing weight! And I love the staff - they are so sweet and helpful, NO LONG LINES and I never get an attitude. Three years ago, this store was nice, with a large wonderful staff. Now, it is filthy, disorganized AND THERE WAS NO HEAT ON TODAY. (Temp is in the teens.). Their store brand products are not good. The shelves in the aisles and freezers where foodstuffs are displayed are FILTHY and full of crumbs, etc. The floor in the dining are is also filthy. I wont buy meat there, as I dont trust them and can get "organic" meats at Stop and Shop. Someone needs to call the DOH on this Fairway location.

Fairway has a wonderful selection of groceries, but they have the best and freshest meat, fish, cold cuts, salads, and other prepared foods that they serve at their hot and cold bars. They serve fresh sushi daily as well as custom salads and a variety of hot foods. Their prices can be higher than other markets close by, but their selection of items is greater and a much higher quality. Their staff is wonderful and helpful and its always fun to go shopping there. From their prepared food counters and deli counter you can taste anything before you buy it, which really takes the guesswork out of knowing if their prepared food is something that will appeal to your pallet. They offer senior citizen discounts on certain days, and now also offer mobile coupons. The lines at the deli counter can be very long.

I love fairways. my budget does not always allow me to go on a regular. but when i want good treats for my family or i am hosting an event i go there. i once catered an event for 450 people there. they were on time , the order was complete for the event . and they were nice enough to pre-warm what needed to be pre-warmed. many places will not do that. food is always fresh, the fruit, pasteries, salad bar is excellent. and dont forget the coffee. hmmmm stop by if you can parking is plentiful, zero waiting time.

Blows away the Manhatten locations. Gigantic with aisles of natural and organic food. Seemingly a multiple of oil varieties. Or maybe itss that you can taste the different oils, which is the only way to know what youre buying. Nice produce section, including organic. Deli, butcher, bakery, coffee, and prepared food, and nutritional supplement counters. Also counters with food to eat there, with seating. Why wasnt this here when I lived a couple of miles away?

WHAT CATERING??? No stars... the new catering is the absolute worse. I used to be able to go in the store or call and order what I needed. Now, I have an 866 number most likely routed to India, where no one answers and you sit on hold for at least 11 mins at a time only to be told to leave a message due to high call volume... at 9*15 am.... No call backs no nothing. Just lost my business and Ill be sure to post on social media.

I like this store, although it can be expensive, they have good sale prices for the most part. I wish more of the fish was wild caught and not farm raised. Also, I dont recommend shopping late at night. Youll get asked if you need help about 5 times because they want to expedite closing. Its amusing. Overall its a good market with a variety of organic, kosher, and even fair trade options. I shop there regularly.

One of my top markets to get certain items. Similar to most other markets if youre familiar with whole foods youll find similar offerings. Plenty of parking and the shelves are typically fully stocked. The registers usually have enough people to keep the lines moving. Try the lemom flavored plantain chips that are packaged by fairway its AWESOME. (Remember to leave some for me!)

So happy they are in Westchester since I used to travel to NY to shop here. Beautiful produce, meat, fish department, cheese, dairy, deli, specialty foods, Kosher, prepared foods, organic foods. You can even find your favorite packaged cookies, cereal, etc. People are helpful and friendly. No need to go anywhere else. I know I sound like an ad but Im truly just a happy customer.

Fairway is my favorite grocery store; I actually get excited to go there! They have a huge selection of everything, including a plethora of prepared foods, from fresh pre-made salads and sandwiches to a hot bar. They also have a great supply of house-made items, including soups, cheeses, bread, pastries, sauces, pastas. Its one-stop shopping for both essentials and gourmet items!

By far my favorite grocery store. You can get the usual supermarket products here, as well as more specialty items such as an extensive olive bar and various dry goods and grains by the pound. Coffee selection is awesome and they grind it for you. Our favorite unique item here is their cheese blintzes (found by the fresh pasta). The bakery and deli are also very good.

Like any other fairway. Employees were really helpful but i needed a manager and one never showed up after paging for them. I heard some employees complaining that there were 2 present but they dont do anything. I was in a rush so it was a little annoying but the employees helped me the best they could (i was buying an entire case of cilantro)

I generally dislike grocery shopping, except when coming here. Ive never been disappointed by the meat, seafood, produce, or deli items. They have a huge selection of both organic products and products from other countries. I took away one star because they dont have much of a selection of local produce, meats, etc.

purchased stone crab claws a day ago...got home and steamed them.....they were no good. ...they smelled like ammonia. This is the 2nd time buying seafood from there and it was bad...the other time it was the king crab legs....and the other items are a little over priced compared to the other supermarkets

Used to be a five star, but definitely declining in past year. Fewer kosher items, no longer has in-house mashgiach or fresh bbq chickens. Otherwise, great selection of stuff hard to find elsewhere. Previously went there three out of four supermarket trips, now it is reversed to one out of four.

I will never buy fish from them i bought fish on 2 occasion and both times it was rotten i was going to cook it the same day. And a few of my friends had the same experience. I only buy spelt pasta and soap things that wont make me sick. It smells like they pour ammonia on there seafood.

Since January, the quality of the cinnamon raisin bagel has deteriorated. I have complained repeatedly to the bakery department that they are overcooking the bagels to the point that they are hard and blistered. Today I brought one back to the bakery department because it was burnt.
