Great place, I enjoy having a properly tamped espresso. However, sometimes the baristas hand me luke warm, watery drinks, signaling to me that they didnt steam my milk long enough. They have an assortment of different syrup flavors, but the bottles are off to the side and are difficult to read; I have looked for a list and there is none. I think this would really help them and potentially speed up the process of ordering. Lastly, there is no sign that says when youre ordering milk other than whole (like skim or soy) they charge you extra/how much extra, and no sign letting me know that if I use a credit/debit card they charge .25 cents extra. Not that I mind but some people do and it would be nice for a heads up. Overall nice place and Im glad theres a fresh coffee place in lower Westchester.

I dont write reviews after a single visit anywhere. Ive gone to Slave to the Grind several times, and this place is the epitome of "hit or miss", depending on the barista. The last time I was there the I ordered an Iced Soy Latte and it was a disaster. I probably would have been better off going to Starbucks, which pains me to say. Im not familiar with any of the other coffee houses in lower westchester, but Slave to the Grind is a distant third when compared to quality roasters like Coffee Labs (Tarrytown) and Black Cow (Pleasantville).

Cozy, comfotable coffee house on the main drag in town. Excellent selection and hard-working staff. A great place to kick back and relax with your favorite cup of joe. Although the college students take over many seats, as they often do elsewhere....

One of the perks of working in Bronxville is being within walking distance of Slave to the Grind. The baristas are always friendly, the coffee is great and they have decent Free Wifi. I recommend their flavored Lemonades and Iced Teas.

Cool scene at Slave usually. I dont drink coffee, but I do enjoy their chai latte. Customers are always commenting about how good the coffee is and also how its reasonably priced. Better than Starbucks!

Great coffee. Its got a lot of flavor. Theres usually a place to sit. Theres meter parking on the street or in a lot on the street immediately across from the shop by the tennis courts.
