Over rated - over priced and just plain awful. There are PLENTY of other places along the Patchogue River to go to other than this establishment. Tried to eat there once in early summer and there was over an hour wait, yet there were only 2 tables full on a Saturday afternoon???? Had a drink each and left. Although a Grey Goose and Club soda was $13??? We are no means cheap individuals, dont mind spending money, but being charged that much money for a drink is just robbery. Tried to dine there yet again 2 weeks ago, actually got seated, ordered 2 drinks and a burger and grilled chicken sandwich....not too difficult, right?? Well appartenly it was bcz after 45 minutes, still no food? Needless to say, we paid our waitress for the drinks, and left. Must be a glutton for punishment, as we tried yet again this weekend. Pulled up by boat, and a man came marching down the dock to inform us it is $100. to dock there if we are coming in for dinner. Ummmmm.....WHY???? What is so special about this place? So youre telling me I am being charged $100. bucks to come in and spend money in your establishment? Very stupid on their part because we had 2 other couples with us and we were planning on having dinner, staying for awhile and more than likely having a few drinks. I guess they didnt need the $500.00 in revenue we spent over at the Oar House, which is where we ended up. No problems there, very friendly, no charge to dock and no attitudes. Funny bcz someone at our marina told us they had the same experience at the Tiki a few weeks ago and they did exactly what we did - spent their money some place else. Get a clue Tiki management......you are on the water, people are going to come by boat to spend money and you want to charge them to do that? I wonder how many people they have turned off by doing that.....do they also charge people $100 bucks to park their cars in the parking lot?? Needless to say, we are done with this place. Its ok, we are more than happy to spend our money someplace else.

I was there last weekend to see a band play with my family and we went to the bar to order appetizers. We were repeatedly told that the kitchen was closed due to being backed up by food orders. Finally after waiting 2 hours we were able to order. I went to order food but the bartender (who was extremely rude) informed me that we could only order appetizers at the time and it would be a minimum 30 minute wait. I said that was fine and placed an order. About a minute later I realized my father had already placed the food order so I went back to the bar straight away to cancel my order but the rude bartender informed me that I would not be able to receive a refund for cancelling my order even though I cancelled it within a minute of ordering. When I realized I would not be getting a refund, I said ok then I will take the food then. Then the bartender also informed me that they would not deliver the food to our table and I would have to come up and check every 10 minutes to see if it was ready. I eventually got one of the appetizers I had ordered, but the second appetizer I ordered I never received! Every time I went up to the bar, they told me it wasnt ready. Eventually my family and I gave up and left. The service was absolutely TERRIBLE and the food wasnt all that great either. If youre in the area, head over to Dublin Deck instead. The service, food and drinks are much better.

Off Key Tikki may find it advantageous to treat the customers at the bar with more respect and courtesy. They give clientele a hard time about drinking tap water because they likely wish to peddle their bottled water. It is understandable to want to turn a profit and do good business. Wouldnt making a good impression, maybe positively suggestive-selling the water; wouldnt that generate a repeat customer or customers and therefore more business than the $4-5 bottled water? The staff behind the bar (two different people) were rude in this manner on several occasions. One was found righteously cutting a bathroom line with no words of apology. After a certain time of day, they no longer serve food at the bar. That is certainly within their right. Why be crass about it, suggesting table service and then in the same breath saying dont bother - the food will take an hour to come out anyway? It just doesnt make sense business-wise. The scenery is nice, including waterfront view, sand but also hard-flooring. Its too bad more kindness isnt extended when there is so much potential here.

Went here for my friends birthday tonight. We show up and it took ten minutes to get us seated on a Tuesday night even though all the tables were empty. Went to the bar and got drinks which were 99% alcohol and 1% mixer (the only good thing about this place.) There was a group of women on their way out saying they waited two hours for their appetizer (this is when we should have left). We were seated and ordered two pitchers of water for our table. We waited 40 minutes - nothing. My friends aunt went inside to ask what was going on and we were told that they couldnt accommodate a table of 10 people (after we were already sat and given menus.) We got up and left, and received $25 back for the $75 we spent on drinks at the bar. Severely understaffed, no apologies - all we got was an attitude. The manager looked like he didnt even care. Went to Dublin deck next door and it was so much better. Will never go back here. Dont waste your time or money!!!

My husband and I were there last night (week-night) for Happy Hour at 5pm. It was great! The band played great music, we were up on the deck and we danced, we were having a great time! We had lobster meals and the martinis were flowing. We were sitting for an hour and a half when the manager came over to us and told us we had to get up because the seats were reserved!! What?? We were not told they were reserved or there was a time limit! He asked us if we were going to order entrees. We had already ordered and we were spending money on drink! He spent close to $200. He still insisted that we had to get up and go down to the patio area. The way he handled this was despicable. He could have graciously explained and if we didnt mind to move, and next drink is on me! But for real..why did we have to??? If he treated paying customers like that,I feel sorry for the people that work there.

The guy who served us was the worst waiter ever. 15 minutes to get us a drink, had to go to bar ourselves. The was a wiseass and wouldnt ask if we wanted a drink throughout our whole meal after, I suppose because I had to go to the bar area to get a drink initially. Then he had the courage to actually charge me a built in $10 gratuity fee which he was eager to take off when he saw i caught it. The food was gross. Tidbits with rotten cheese on it with an old bun. Overpriced bar food. I should have gotten the guys name. Started to talk to the doorman about it and he seemed concerned. But then got a little busy and started ignoring us. What a dump!!!!!!! Then the jerk at valet gave an attitude about me asking to park my own car, and then talking trash as I leave. HORRIBLE!!!! Just save the headaches and go to somehwere else. The deck is down the block..
