Pie Lady & son is located in Nyack NY is a homemade baking tradition; Pie Lady & Son offers homemade pie, homemade baked goods and ice cream. My co-worker is has been talking about this place for months, they only bad thing is that is a bit far and you need to use the Tappan Zee Bridge in order to get to this place. The place is not that big, their businesses is more a pickup and take home more than go and have a good piece of pie. I had the blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream and a cup of cappuccino, the cappuccino was very good, the pie and it was very delicious beyond belief. The crust was rich, buttery and very flaky. The crust was crisp and thin on the bottom. The pie was filled with a generous amount of plump blueberries. The berries were plump, flavorful and a little tart. The filling wasnt runny or gluey. It held together very well and the homes make ice cream give a extra touch to the pie. Everything was so delicious, even one of my co-worker ended by ordering one of the pie to go. If you are around here and enjoy a piece of pie I recommend coming to this place.

This past summer I had the good fortune to eat almost every pie in stock over the course of a feature film production; where every dinner meal featured a selection of Pie Lady and Son pies. Ah how I miss those beautiful slices. If there was a prayer to their pies I might say it. If there was a law against eating them I would surely break it. And if there were a gospel according to Pie Lady and Son I would preach it. What else can I say!

Its unfortunate, such a quaint little shop with very friendly workers and very very good food, but they price themselves out of my business. $2.50 was a lot for a good (not amazing) muffin, but when they upped the price to $3.00 for a muffin, they lost my business. If you win the lotto, go here, but if you are a working stiff like me, then Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds will have to do.

Ive only had the muffins here, but would love to sample their pies as they look awesome. Unfortunately, I cant carry a pie on my bike back to Brooklyn. =[ The muffins are some of the best Ive ever had. Wonderful texture and you can taste all the ingredients that went into it. The strawberry rhubarb muffin is out of this world!

These pies were scrumptious down to the last bite. Try the chocolate fudge pie with whipped cream. . .no, try the cherry walnut crumb . .wait, the very berry with ice cream takes the cake! Thanks, Pie Lady and Son (and your daughter too) for making my corporate event one of THE BEST!

The best crust by far! My Mom holds the gold standard for pie crusts and finding a crust similar to hers has been like looking for the holy grail. The Pie Ladys pies come very close. I measure a pie by its crust, and the Pie Ladys are the best! (Other than my Moms!!)

What a great place! We enjoy a slice after a walk in the nearby Nyack Beach State Park. Our family has food allergies, so it is reassuring that everyone that works there can answer the question "whats in it? " without hesitation.
