As someone with a lifelong gluten allergy, the options for a delicious GF pizza are quite limited. I was thrilled when I realized Unos sold GF, and I order from there around once a week for the past year. This past weekend, I ordered my usual gluten free pepperoni for pick up, grabbed it on my way home from work, and went on my merry way. When I arrived at home, I opened the box, and saw a pizza that looked very different from my usual. Unos gluten free pizza usually resembles a round flatbread; it has no crust, the dough is hard and crunchy, and anyone who isnt gluten intolerant can tell it isnt a normal pizza. This time, however, when i opened the box, i saw a perfectly risen, gooey, thin crust pizza that did not even remotely resemble their normal gluten free. Im not the type of person to make a stink about a kitchen mistake, anyone could do it. However, since I do have an allergy, I decided to call the store to ask if they changed their GF recipe, or if this wasnt my pizza. Upon calling, the hostess put me on hold, presumably to get me the manager. When the manager answered, he asked what the problem was, and I expressed concern that my pizza was not the gluten free I had ordered. Our conversation went something like this: "Hi, I picked up my order a while ago, brought it home, and i dont think this is my pizza." "What did you order?" "I ordered the gluten free pepperoni, and this looks more like a thin crust pepperoni." "Is the pizza round." "Yes, sir, the pizza is round. The problem is, the gluten free doesnt ordinarily have crust and this one does so--" "If the pizza is round, its our gluten free. We have no other round pizzas." "Well did you change the GF recipe? Ordinarily your GF looks nothing like this, its usually a flat pizza---" "If its round, its not our flatbread. Our gluten free pizza is the only round pizza we have." "Sir, Im concerned because i have an allergy. If this pizza contains gluten, I will get very sick. Can you guarantee that this pizza is gluten free? It doesnt--" "Its gluten free." "Sir, I order your gluten free pizza on a weekly basis, and it is usually a flat pizza with no crust and crunchy dough. This is nothing--" "Is it round?" "Yes, it is round, but--" "Its our gluten free." "Okay, thank you...?" *Hangs up* Not only was this man extremely rude, dismissive, disrespectful, and unprofessional, he obviously knows nothing of the products he sells. By simply looking at the online menu, one will see the only pizza they sell that ISNT round is the flatbread. The manager could have been right; the pizza I received very well could have been gluten free, but the problem here is much greater than possibly getting the wrong order. I have never been dismissed and disrespected like that in my life. The manager of a restaurant is who people with food allergies rely on to ensure the food is safe to eat. This manager had no mind to my health or safety, and would not take my claim seriously to consider that the pizza I received might not have been what I ordered. He did not bother to check with the chefs, he did not bother to send someone out to trade me for a definitely gluten free pizza, he did not bother to let me finish my sentences. All he could say was "Is it round." If you have a food allergy, the management at Unos on 86th does not care about your needs. I will never go back, and neither should you.

Jan. 12 2014 SUN. update. I went back to 86str. to receive a Chicago classic add mushrooms that the mgr. compd me. They took care to make it just right! Sorry I threw out nearly all of 2 regular sized. If you get take out, get your receipt and the label on the box before you leave! ======================================================================== [1-star] Not that I hate UNOs it was service today and yesterday that pod me. BTW I know what it should taste like first having it in late 1973 while in college in Chicago. And eating it more often then, than now. Back in NYC went right away after the franchised location opened in NYC etc. Today got wrong pizza handed to me of take-out. I did not realize it until I opened it at home, the I should have opened it because of the smell not being what a Chicago classic [sausage] would be. I called and spoke to manager at e86str said he would replace it. It is a trip way uptown for me. I have NO receipt either. Paid cash. BUT yesterday went to Columbus Ave. for lunch ordered full size but it came with lots of grated cheese on top. Ive never seen that, ate some took the bulk of it home but threw it away. I have a charge slip. Wanted it so much is why I went uptown after work for another try. So I like what I like.,.

I tried to find an awesome place in my new area since I moved from West Side.. and here it is! Its not very perceptible from the street but I saw it couple times and thought it looked nice and I should come visit one day. Today I was checking out pics from there in Google and all the food looked so good. The menu is also impressed me cause Im kinda big lover of bar food and stuff like that. I didnt have a company for today to go for a couple of beers and check the place out so I decided to order something online. I left my order at 6.30 and got it delivered at 6.52, sooo good job! The burger was just perfect, I couldnt eat the whole one cuz its a bit too much for me but really, so delicious! I ate even fries which I usually do not eat but it was so tasty. I couldnt try the Caesar salad which I ordered but it looks so good and I think Ill eat this later. I also realized that I finally found a place with perfect ranch dressing, maybe it sounds weird but I really like ranch and the only place where it was same good was the Qs bar in LA. Thank you guys! Now I know you have some specials for the football season so youll definitely see me there a lot! :)

Went on 7/13/2016 to this location around 5pm. Restaurant was not busy at all. Took 8 minutes for waiter to even greet us and take our drink order. 7 more minutes to receive drinks and place orders. Food came rather quickly, however, drink refills were virtually non-existent and our drinks always ran dry. We ended up drinking the water we were brought even though we paid for soda. Placed to-go order (the food is always good, no complaints there) for 2 Prima Pepperoni, regular) and when they were ready I took them home. The bag was tied off so I didnt think to check. Upon getting home (a 20 minute walk) one was correct, the other one had mushrooms and spinach all over it. Overall it was a bad experience and took nearly 2 hours from start to finish when it should have taken under an hour. Oh, I forgot, I asked for a to-go drink and it took 15 minutes to get it. Same week last year the service was really good and comparable with other Uno locations in New York, Boston, Orlando and elsewhere.

I ordered from the 86th street Unos in New York City. I ordered 2 HOURS ago. It is still not here. Part of my order included ice cream... the rest that isnt melted will be cold and gross. Whoever manages this branch is doing a ridiculously terrible job. I called twice to check on where my order was and was rudely informed both times that it was out on delivery, but maybe its last on the list, I already told you that. 2 Hours for a small order delivery? It was literally a pizza, appetizer and dessert. 86th street , NY, NY.... worst Unos EVER. I will not be ordering from here again and will spread the word about its shitty service. Am so turned off I probably wont return to the chain again either.
