Anyone who knows me knows I love marshmallow. It is my Kryptonite, my soft spot, my wet dreams, my weakness, and the key to my heart. Im allergic to shellfish but if a menu read marshmallow incrusted crab Id order it and eat it on route to a hospital. So its no surprise Sweet & Sara is my heaven! Saras marshmallows are simply the most decedent you will ever have. And on top of that they are vegan, but dont let that description fool you. From regular vanilla, to toasted coconut covered, and even my favorite cinnamon pecan, which is infused with organic cinnamon and toped off with caramelized pecans. These little morsels are creamy, soft, flavored, irresistible pillows of nom nom nom! Perfect for baking, adding to hot chocolate, having as a simple snack or for making smores. And speaking of smores, Sweet & Sara went and one-upped that wonderful creation. Their Peanut Butter Smores are a little peice of ah-mazing in your mouth! With a sweet layer of smooth peanut butter atop a yummy graham cracker cookie which of course sits under their fluffy marshmallow goodness and wait for it......all covered in a decadent layer of Belgian dark chocolate. May I also suggest their biscotti and macaroons that way there are more marshmallows for me!

Pizza is good and I recommend it. The grandma slice is by far the best! The garlic is strong but lots of sauce (which I like) and good crust. "Regular" slice uses cornmeal on bottom which i still dont get and I wish it had a little more sauce. When regular slice is prepared well with enough sauce and not overcooked, its a good slice and worth getting a few! However, when these slices are just cheese and crust and I would not recommend; like most pizza, use your eye to judge). The worst part is the service (two guys who retrieve slices for you behind counter that is). However, the owner Tony is clearly "hands on" and cares not only about his business, but his customers! With his attention you can get the service (and slice) you deserve. If you are hungry and passing by, definitely get a few grandma slices! They rock. Its worth the trip and like most pizza, when they are on its great stuff! GT (West End Ave)

I often get a slice of Daya cheese pizza, which comes on whole wheat. Delicious! They have an amazing range of pizzas that either come on whole wheat, or have healthy toppings on them. And reasonable prices as well. Theres not a lot of seating, but the turnover is high so you can generally get a seat quite easily. The soups are great, I like the lentil soup very much, and their whole wheat pasta is very good as well, especially with a spicy sauce. Great food at a great price!

Cafe viva may look like a regular pizzeria from the outside, but theyre serving up deliciousness and wholesome food on the inside. Being gluten and dairy free its hard to find pizzerias to accommodate that, but cafe viva does and theyre originality for pizza toppings makes it that much better. I forget what my fav one is called, but it was a gluten free first they had topped with pesto, mushrooms, eggplant and vegan cheese. Soooo delish!

Ive easily had pizza over 1,500 times in my life since Ive been born so you can say Im a bit of a pizza connoisseur. Anyway, viva pizza is not only the best kosher pizza on the market (note: they are open on shabbat), but they offer the single greatest slice of pizza known to mankind, and in the tri-state area, named after your oldest relative, because shes the saltiest... The Grandma Slice (La Nona). Mmmmmmmmmm... grandma slice.

Even though it offers a vegetarian and vegan menu, neither of which I am, the pizza is one of the best Ive had in the city. And prices are pretty decent for the quality and amount of food youre getting. I really like the simple pizzas. The Sorrentino, a white pizza with ricotta, is delicious, as well as the Al Pesto, mozzarella and pesto, is very nice. Get the garlic knots too—oh so delicious and garlicky, just as they should be.

Ive twice now witnessed employees coming out of the bathroom, and then entered the bathroom to find the sink bone dry. It is no excuse to wash hands upon return to the kitchen, and this restaurant has been previously cited regarding this issue. Like natural pizza? So do I--but not that natural! (It doesnt take more than a microscopic spec of crap in your food to give you food poisoning...in case you didnt know!).

The service can be a little prickly, but in terms of vegan pizza, these folks really give Two Boots a run for their money. They say they can make anything on their (delicious) menu vegan. I recommend a vegan meatball and sausage pizza, especially. And the desserts are out of this world good-- some of the best vegan cheesecake and peanut butter pie in the city, for sure!

Great vegetarian and vegan pizza and pasta too! My favorite vegan pizzas they have are the spicy Mother Earth pizza; mushroom, pesto, garlic, and crumbled tofu Zen pizza; and the classic Nomaggio vegan cheese slices. All of them come standard on a spelt crust or whole wheat crust. Definitely a quick service pizza place with good delivery too.

Im taking my Business elsewhere. They ignored me One Two many times and are Rude to me ., One two many Times. I give respect and Expect Respect. Plus, A few weeks ago one of the cash register workers, Consumed my Slice of Pizza. He gave me a different slice. Ive been mulling this over, Its way too many. Best

Wide selection of pizza including whole wheat, spelt, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian. Tasty, but Im personally not a fan of pizza with cornmeal on the bottom. Its my go to spot for raw dough to bake pizzas at home. Since the pizzas are "premium," Id say this place is $$ rather than $, as far as pizza goes.

Into healthy food and feel like pizza? This is the place. Whole grain (not just wheat) crusts with healthy toppings (or fillings), including dairy free options. The space could use some revitalization, but its utilitarian, and central park is nearby for a takeout location.

Had the gluten free speciale pizza. I was very disappointed. The crust actually seemed fine, but the rest of the ingredients were just bland. If youre looking for good GF pizza in NYC, its not here. 3 stars rather than 2 because I appreciate anyones effort at making GF pizza.

Always my first stop when Im back in town....It feels so good to be so bad...Eating healthy always tastes great here and I enjoy being able to bring my dairy loving friends to enjoy. A place for everyone! Garlic Knots my favorite snack, Nomaggio and Zen!

The pizza is delicious! Really disappointed to come back and find they have dramatically reduced the size of the slices, but not the prices. Bad move! Id much rather have paid a little more for a real slice than the old price for a little square.

5 stars! 5 stars!! This place is awesome. The penne vodka is delicious (but I recommend getting it to stay bc it tastes better when its not in the tin). Also the pizzas are very special. They have vegan and gluten free options.

Had celiac disease for 25 years and not had many occasions when I was given a gluten-containing food when promised otherwise. Unfortunately, this happened here more than once, so its off my list, though close and convenient.
