Very nice atmosphere, indoor outdoor seating and the food is really tasty; I had and enjoyed the Wagyu Beef burger and Rosemary Parmesan fries. BUT service was inattentive -- had to ask if we could order 3 or 4 times as other patrons walked up to the bar to place orders. In fact service was actually VERY inattentive/surly and we were guests at the bar. I may go back and try it again, well see; Id expect this kind of attitude from a NYC bar, but very uncharacteristic of a New Paltz bar/restaurant which is usually warm, friendly and welcoming, no matter how busy. UPDATE: Have been back since my first visit and was pretty impressed. Maybe it was just a bad day they were having, but the staff was quite friendly and accommodating.

Second visit in 3 months, the first was a very busy night and the second almost no one there. Both experiences the same. Service was unattentive, and communication between waitstaff and kitchen is horrible. They need an experienced expediter to ensure things come out on time. Both times I have been there some one at my table watched us eat our entire meals before getting theirs. No sorry for the wait no excuse me things got mixed up. They also need a trained waitstaff especially for if your going to serve expensive bar food Their drink menu is good and their cocktails too That is still not good enough to try a third time Wont be back I can get bad service else where for far less money

Great Mac and cheese, and very good burger with prompt service. Waitress seemed a bit rushed and unhappy that we didnt get drinks since its a bar-restaurant, but regardless, the food was great and nearly the entire selection (albeit limited) sounds great. Burger was cooked exactly to my liking with a fresh bun, well melted cheese, custom chipotle-like sauce, and well-done fries doused in rosemary and parmesan. The Mac and cheese was great also with soft pasta, flavorful cheese and some breadcrumb, all in a fair serving size.

Spent a nice evening at Huckleberry with group of 15 friends. The arrangement of outdoor seating allowed lots of interaction. We got plenty of attention from the wait staff, taking orders for drinks and food and refilling our water glasses often. We had been outside all day and the water was much needed. Three of us got the Wagyu Beef Burger. I had it on romaine lettuce, sans bun. Good flavor, but cooked a bit more than the medium rare that I requested. Ive previously had their fish tacos which are also good.

The staff is friendly and is comfortable interacting with you. Their beer selection changes frequently but the rotation always has a great selection. Foodd is expensive for bar food but the quality is high and it tastes great. I go for the outside seating but the interior is cozy and welcoming. There are two enclosed fire pits by the entrance with couches for groups or strangers to mingle around. This place is great.

Outside looks like a little hole in the wall, inside transforms into a cool spot for a group to have intellectual... or crazy, conversations. Good selection of spirits, and my guests were very happy with the food (they held a reception for me for an event and they catered). The prices for the catering was very reasonable price-wise, and the food was really good. Ill bring more business there in the future, for sure.

Burgers are definitely the notable experience here. However make sure you wipe your shoes upon leaving. There was evidence of someones previous meal under our table and the bathroom had debris from hand towels to a diaper just sitting on the floor. Part of owning a restaurant should include maintaining a clean environment for guests

Overall great experience. Slightly pretentious for what you might expect outside of the city, but I guess they aim to keep the bar high. Food was nice, but most potatoes in my group of 9 were way over-salted. Drinks and atmosphere were nice. More bathroom capacity would be nice.

Our food was sub par, burnt or way overcooked, and we were given someone elses tab that was double ours and had to prove it. Wait service initially not polite, and newer waiter was visibly upset with the tab issue. Not a great experience. Well just come back for the beer.

A-Mazing! The location, atmosphere, food and drinks were perfect! They have outdoor and indoor seating! I had the white bean veggie burger.... perfect! And their rosemary French fries with homemade ketchup.... honestly... perfect! Will definitely be back!

Cant say a single bad thing about Hucklebery. Love it here. Service is amazing. The atmosphere is so cozy and intimate and relaxed all in one. The fries are to die for. If youre in NP you gotta stop in.

Always have fantastic beers on tap. Their food is very good, if slightly on the expensive side. Seating inside and out, fire outside to sit around for colder weather. Definitely worth a visit!

The outside atmosphere is friendly backyard vibe. Reminds you of being in a friends backyard. It was a lil too dark for me. Couldnt see my food or the people in the back of the yard.

A nice bar tucked away in a quiet corner of New Paltz. Lots of outdoor seating and a firepit during the summer/fall. Decent selection of craft beer and food. Great for groups.
