I read the reviews and felt this would be a fun place to try. It is Tex Mex. There is a special every night. Wednesday nights special is 8.95 for all fajitas. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Nice touch. Then I sat down. The 20 year old waiter dressed in shorts and a t shirt asked if I wanted anything to drink. I replied, a water for now. He disappeared. Next came freshly made chips with very tasty salsa. I ordered the shrimp fajita. Before I could say that I did not want sour cream, but would like a side of guacamole and a sangria, the waiter was off and running. The fajita came with a large amount of shredded lettuce, two tablespoons of tomatoes, and 1 tablespoon of grated cheese. No rice or beans. That was a disappointment. I finally got the waiter to bring a glass of white peach sangria. The sangria was the best part of the meal. I would only go back here for drinks. The menu is written on the side of a mini surf board. It is uniquely decorated but there are better Tex Mex restaurants. The service was lacking. Although there was a table of 4, the diners at that table clearly knew the manager. They received great service. Too bad. Prices are moderate to expensive. The fajitas are usually 14.95. The drink was 7.95. Service was mediocre.

If there was a 0 stars - thats what I would give. We were scheduled to get a delivery of catering for 80 and as of right now - they are 1 hour and 15 minutes late. Calls to Zim Zari result in no or bad information including the manager who told me 20 minutes ago that the driver was in the building, he would call him, and call me back. Now Ive called the number for the last 5 minutes and its busy. Most of our lunch hours have come and gone - TERRIBLE customer service on all ends.......not sure about the food - might be good but not worth the wait for busy working medical professionals........................

While the food is excellent the service sucks I think that management is more interested in hiring young girls with big fat asses with no intelligence and having courteous staff that knows what theyre doing it took my waitress three times to get a fork and napkin on my table she seemed to be clueless and oblivious I when we told it a wrap up food to go she didnt even do it and yes thats why you got a real shity tip

They serve some good drinks and the food is always delicious. My favorites are the upside down nachos and the fish tacos. The Asian bowls were not as good as the Mexican food here so if you are trying to pick between the two I would always go with a Mexican dish here. Also, check the specials! They have done really great stuff up there. Last night we had short rib poutine.

Love the food and service is great. Certainly a different choice from all the other chains with a Mexican Asian flair. Food is fresh tasty and not loaded with salt like so many other places. Only complaint is its really tight seating inside near the back and if you go during busy times then youre sure to wait 45 minutes.

had a frozen margarita and the coastal salad. best salad Ive had in a long time. peanut sauce was delicious and had a good amount of heat to it. giant portion for only $10 which included chicken. waiter was friendly and attentive without being annoying. a new favorite spot !!!

Taco Tuesday is busy but great and a great deal. Mike whos normally running the place is fast and friendly. Bang bang shrimp tacos are awesome as is the chicken strips appetizer.

Typically attend on "taco Tuesday" which offers great deals on a la carte specialty tacos. The cocktails are delicious and the staff us always super friendly.
