Ok so this is the 3rd time we have eaten here since the place opened. Service & atmosphere great. However the food is always terrible. Starting from the cocktails. My husband ordered a rum & coke easy enough how can you possibly mess that up. Well they managed to do it. Tasted like they used cream soda. When we asked the waiter he said no we use tap soda & never offered to bring us a new drink. My husband ordered the New England Clam chowder. Tasted like the cream was either bad or they used sour cream to thicken the soup. His entree was shrimp scampi they mustve used too much white wine in the sauce. All his dishes were just less than . I ordered the 8oz filet mignon med rare w/vegetable julienne. The veggies were the only good food. My filet mignon was over done & just lacked flavor. After all that we remembered why we have only been here 3 xs since its opened. Its always disappointing.

One of the worst dinners Ive had in a long time. Poor management decision to accept reservations that the scheduled service staff could not handle. After taking our food order, we never saw him again. Our food was delivered by the kitchen staff by asking who had what, no one checked back to see how the food was and we sat with dirty plates forever trying just to pay the bill and get out of there. Poor server had the entire room to himself with not an empty table in sight and with nothing but unhappy patrons to deal with. We paid $60 a person and could have done better at Dennys! I feel cheated! And unfortunately, it was a special evening for our family that we tastefully got through the evening without allowing the experience to effect it. Maybe we hit an evening that someone called in sick? We will find out if I get a response from management. Otherwise, stay away.

This place is horrible. I was going to purchase over $1000 worth of gift certificates for my employees. The special was advertised for Monday, 11/28, but when I called there was a recording saying that they were closed on Monday, so I did not travel the 30+ miles to get the gift certificates. When I called the next day, they said "sorry" we were open for that one Monday only and did not care that their recording said they were closed. OH WELL, THEIR LOSS. If you want something really special try DISH, wonderful owners and fanatasic food. You wont be disappointed. THATS where my employees will be going for the Holidays and I will be having my Christmas get-together there, in hopes of everyone making the switch GO TO DISH. Fresh, fresh fool. Bon Apetite

I love this place. From the outside you wouldnt even notice it. But once you get inside it has a classic steakhouse look and feel. The staff is amazing and makes you feel like family. The food is fresh. If you want a light meal, I would recommend their chicken wings. They make their own sauce and its wonderful. But if youre ready for a real meal, have the porter house steak. It literally reminds me of a steak you would find on the Flintstones. It can serve 2-3 people and is cooked perfectly. It doesnt need steak sauce but you should try it with their home made steak sauce. My mouth is watering just talking about. The only bad thing about this place is that parking can be tough and it can get crowded because it is so popular and good.

I have been to Chophouse many times and I always raved about the food. I am somewhat of a steak snob having been to many NYC steakhouses. I generally wont get steak at a restaurant if its not USDA Prime. I have recommended this place to several friends and they always impressed me. However, we went to Chophouse for my wifes birthday and the steak was very unimpressive (read: disgusting). It tasted like it had been frozen and even the filet portion of the porterhouse was chewy and tasteless. I was so disturbed by the food that I will have a difficult time going back.

My wife and I dined here twice and had a great experience both times. Sharon and the staff do an outstanding job of service and are extremely accommodating and friendly. On both occasions, we started with drinks and an appetizer. I had the 16 oz NY Strip steak which was done to perfection. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass which she said was incredible. Desserts were also very impressive. Despite it being extremely busy, the atmosphere was very comfortable and clean. Im also very impressed with the bar being enclosed therefore limiting any noise. Highly recommended.

Been here before but first time on New Years eve. As busy as it was, the service was terrific and the food was awesome. My wife had an Osso bucco special that was "melt in your mouth" tender. I had the ribeye that was perfectly cooked (medium rare) with a nice crust and big enough for two (in my case, enough left over for New Years Day dinner). Its convenient having an steak house so close that compares to some of the best in NYC quality-wise. Kudos to the managment, staff and the DJ - this was great place to welcome the New Year!!

Yineza and Benjamin Marcanos Wedding. We had our wedding at the Chophouse Grill and everything was perfect! We had 50-60 guests and there was plenty of room for everyone. It felt intimate and warm. The service was impeccable. Tony made my wife and I happy on our special day. All my guest are still raving about the food and atmosphere. I have to say that everything there was top notch. Simply put an amazing place to host any event! Thank you Tony and thank everyone on your staff who made the day truly special!

Atmosphere, sit down eat your meal and leave. Cold reception by owner waiters. (Tony and company) Special of the night, Porterhouse steak dinner for two 18oz at most with side dish. Who makes a porter house steak fajitas style burnt beyond recognition, boned and tasteless and in oil. Call 911 we got robbed at $65.00. French fries looked like burnt spaghetti, so thin, soggy and oily my son drank his tears. No kids friendly menu. Augies is a better deal.

Absolutely ridiculous that they dont except THEIR gift card on a Friday or Saturday. A gift card was purchased with cash, that went into their register already. Its no a free meal, its greedyness by the owners, they rather save a seat for a customer who will be paying tonight, and make the person who paid already wait for a slower night. Ill never be back and will tell everyone about this. I have never heard of something like this before.
