Refuse To Lose
I went to this place for a business meeting with a client. We sat by the bar and loved the concept, vibe, decor, menu and prices. However the bartender/barista was very nosey and rude. He interrupted our conversation several times which felt very uncomfortable especially being in the middle of explaining a proposal to my client The worst part is that his questions and comments he made were nothing related to costumer service but more towards our business concept and credibility which in my opinion was totally unprofessional. His demeanor was very standoffish and snobbish. This is the only complain I have about this place. Its very well located and definitely a place you want to visit. I would like to visit this place again but if I see the same guy at the bar I will turn around and walk out. He did mention he was opening up a brazilian food truck business so lets hope that goes well for him.

This review is for the neighborhood bar that blossoms out of the coffee shop at night. The bar staff at Sweetleaf are out of this world awesome. One visit and this will become your local fave. Whether you want to sip a martini and do work in the corner, get wild on a Wednesday doing shots, or if youre hoping to meet some neighbors - Natalie, Johnny, Silas, Angel, & Joel will make your every dream come true as a patron. Incredible coffee in a trendy setting with a sort of steampunk vibe. The bean beverages here are incredible from a simple Americano to the more unique cocktails like the rocket fuel and voodoo child. The voodoo child is an incredibly sweet iced Vietnamese coffee made with condensed milk, perfect for slowly sipping on a hot day. The Americano was simple perfection as well though a bit small in the default size. Prices are a bit on the high side for the sizes, but the taste is worth it. The inside is great with moody wood panels, but can feel dark and depressing on a warm sunny day.

Quality coffee, interesting decor, pleasant atmosphere. Live music on Wednesdays. Cocktails at night. Brunch on the weekends. Lots of people with laptops or strollers during the days. I guess mothers and freelancers love it most. A bit expensive. And oh yes, they serve mulled wine (gluhwein) and it is actually good! 5 dollar minimum for credit cards. So if you are going for just a coffee, bring cash. Expect some line on weekday mornings.

I love small businesses and Sweetleaf is a great one in my neighborhood with solid coffee and pastries. It is a great spot to hang with friends and neighbors. I wish it is bigger and opens later. I enjoy their coffee and their scones are delicious and huge. This location has alcohol too! So, if you need not only a kick, but also a buzz, this spot is amazing.

What a fantastic cocktail bar masquerading as a coffee shop! Im a big fan of Sweetleaf when it turns into a bar in the evenings. The cocktails are delicious, and the setting is equally fabulous. Ive mostly been here on Friday evenings for pre-dinner drinks, and found the environment to be great for unwinding after the work week.

Before 5 pm, they only serve coffees and teas. Its a good place to relax and get some work done while the caffeine is flowing. I wish they had more food options during the day, but overall, if you want a casual place to spend some quality time with your laptop/study buddy, its convenient.

Ive been in this place four times. Atmosphere (decoration etc.), drinks, and food is good. However, staff are always unhappy and a bit snobby; to the point that i had to leave the place last time. Sorry guys... I prefer happy places.

Rotating taps of local beers plus great cocktails. Interior had a really great vibe and the appetizers we had were delicious. Would love to come back for some coffee or for a bigger dinner, but they did drinks and apps really well.

I love the vibe here. Its cool and kind of oldschool. I had an strawberry iced tea wich was delicious! The location is cool. Would have been nicer of it were directly at the waterfrontaybe with a terras, but the space is very nice!
