I went this past weekend with a small group of friends. Between my friends and I, we had three open tabs and some friends ordered drinks and paid cash. They have a $20 card minimum. We spent a good sum of money there, yet were treated like crap. The bartender was a white, tall-ish, man with an Irish accent. Every time anyone ordered, he gave an attitude about doing his job. He was extremely rude. I am never coming back to this bar. The drinks were terrible (except for their beer). The bartender screwed up everyones margaritas. How is that even possible?! The service was absolutely horrendous. The bartender followed me out of the bar because I gave negative feedback to him about his service. As a small lady, I felt extremely threatened and uncomfortable. Another strike against them is that their bathroom was putrid. Ive seen cleaner bathrooms in Times Square Starbucks locations. Avoid this place at all costs!

I was first put off when I came here for the first time after recently moving into LIC about 3 years. What put me off was that they didnt offer any happy hour deals during any day of the week. That seemed a little pretentious to suggest they didnt need deals to keep customers happy or to bring in new business. I didnt return up until two years ago when I started seeing drink specials and events outside their door on the chalk board. Ever since then, its been my favorite bar in LIC. The outside area is great during nice weather. They also have $3 Miller High Lifes all day. Not bad for the "champagne of beer". I frequent this place for happy hour and my and my friends special occasions and birthdays. Its a great laid back atmosphere with plenty of room for groups if you get there early. The free weekly music and free Monday buffet is also a bonus.

Great place, great beer, nice service. The staff seem eager to get you your order as quickly as possible to allow you to get back to the table, the music, or the conversation. The management seem to have hit on a good formula here. I love the outdoor space. My only negative feeling was about the patrons who feel cool with bringing their kids TO A BAR, and letting them run around. It may be a neighborhood pub, but seriously grown people are playing here. It reminds me of the movie Sister Act..."If this place turns into a nuns bar, Im outa here man!"

I live in Buffalo but visit with my sister who lives only a few short blocks from LIC Bar. Just happened to end up here one evening after avoiding the zoo that can be Midtown at times. The bar pretends to be nothing that it is not which is the most alluring aspect of the place. Relaxed comfortable environment with friendly staff and diverse crowd make this a must place to visit if your in Queens and wanna relax and have a beer with fam and friends. Look forward to checking the place out again this May while I travel.

We had our wedding at LIC Bar in late April. It was wonderful! Brian (the owner) was an absolute pleasure to work with --- diligent, organized, and accommodating. His wedding coordinator, Ali, did a great job of keeping us relaxed on the day of, and allowed us to just enjoy the party. We had the ceremony (with 150 people) on the outside patio, and then a really fun party after. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful place to have a fun New York wedding, without paying exorbitant costs.

Very laid back. There is a front room, an outdoor courtyard, and a back room. The only bar is in the front room. The front room is your standard wood dive bar. Theres a small stage and I have seem some very good performances there (no cover). The courtyard is very cool, with brick walls and no roof. The back room is awesome, it has a fireplace and looks like a very old structure. There is no food here, but you can order freely. The beer selection is not good and the drink prices are just okay.

This bar is awful. I was there with a group of friends and we sat in the "carriage house" on the back patio bc the door was open and there was nothing saying we couldnt. After being out there for 1.5 hours a female bar tender came outside and freaked out. She was verbally assaulting other females in our group for no reason and escalating a situation that should not have been a big deal. Very strange place with an unstable bar tender

Pretty sure were not allowed back here. Okay, thats a bit drastic, but we were very belligerent people telling offensive jokes loudly at 2pm on a Sunday. For that, LIC bar is a great venue. They have a sizeable backyard, and air conditioning and a pool table inside. Our bartender was nice enough, though she had a very strange foreign sense of humor. Not the greatest beer selection, but seems like a good place to catch a game.

NY Video Group did an outstanding job creating a video montage of our 5K Help a Horse Day Walk sponsored by the Kaeli Kramer Foundation. The video was set to music and included creative images of people and animals as well the beautiful Holtsville Wildlife and Ecology Site. The Ny Video team are professional and talented artists and we would recommend them for any video or photography work. They are a pleasure to work with.

This is a staple after work haunt for myself and coworkers. In the summer we take advantage of the out door patio and pitchers of margaritas. The music can leave a bit to be desired, usually 90s pop songs and/or rock, but this can lead to good conversation. I would also recommend the grilled cheese with ham or onion if you get the munchies while youre there. Best bang for your buck is happy hour for sure.

The live music is great here! The crowd is really mellow and everyone just wants to enjoy some quality time with their friends. The back patio is awesome and is totally dog friendly too (so many fluffy cutes!). If you want to host a party here, they have a whole back room separate from the bar-- across the patio-- where you can hang out and eat your cake.

A best bet for bars in the area. Down to earth, but not downscale. Lots of people at lots of peoples times. A variety of beers, including some cheap options like $3 miller lights. Live music, a friendly young but mixed vibe. In nice weather, an outdoor space to enjoy. Not pretentious, not snooty. A pleasant place to go with people.

Apparently there are "off limit" tables at this bar. Found this out when a couple of people there were peacefully sitting and talking in a place they unknowly werent supposed to be. This group was disturbing no one. The disturbance came when they were verbally assaulted by the bartender. I will NEVER go back to this establishment.

Hands down one of my favorite bars. The decor is great, the prices are more than reasonable, especially for happy hour. A major draw, especially on a nice summer day is taking advantage of their outdoor seating area which is opened year round and listening to the live bands.

Great spot for their outdoor patio space that leads into a separate back area (dont know the particulars, but not a bad space for an event, I would think). Sangria packs a hidden punch. Right now, they even have PB&J vodka at the bar!
