Dont let the facade and interior fool you. Even if the store isnt squeaky clean, the deli is on point! Better steak and cheese than Ive had in Philly! Staff is friendly and chatted it up with me while I waited for my sandwich and recommended some rainbow cookies for dessert (they were really good.) Also I had paif for my order before it eas ready and wanted to exchange the chips I had already paid for some new ones I noticed while waiting. He didnt even bat an eyelash and said "no problem" and even paid me the difference. I know it seems like thats what should happen, but a lot of people would grumble and sigh or give you a hard time for a simple thing like that. This guy didnt. When Im back on the area you can bet Im getting another steak and cheese! Like I said Ive had Geno s, Pats and a couple others in Philly... This place blows them out of the water!
