They food here is great, but hope that you get a competent employee from behind the counter. Hector is fantastic and always makes everything perfect and is very friendly. The tall, bald guy who owns the place I find obnoxious but he makes a good sandwich. What I dont understand is how a food establishment can employ people who have gauged earrings with huge holes in their ears. If Im about to order food I dont want the guy making it looking like that. Im willing to look past that since the food is so good. Lines are always long but worth the wait. This place is a gold mine and rightly so. Get a roast beef wrangler on garlic bread, its unreal. All the bagels are amazing and their cream cheeses are fantastic. Did i mention that you should hope you get a competent employee. Some of employees there act like theyre doing you a favor by serving you. Dont work with food if youre gonna be rude ; )

Over many years, and with much experience as a bagel maven, I say that this is the best. The whole wheat everything bagel is unbelievable. We cater Yom Kippur every year from this place. The fish is first class and so is the service. This place taught Glen Cove which is a great place for food that we love bagels too. Who knew?
